If I place points into EP, will the shiny glimmer on the ground stay lit longer?

Hello, just a quick question to any of you long time console veterans playing this game. If I place points into EP, will the shiny glimmer on the ground be larger and stay lit longer for me to see it as a Magical Treasure? Otherwise it is too hard to spot and stay alive at the same time. Maybe I am missing something here so please advise me. Thank you.

No, it will not do that. Actually, I am not sure if it affects the magical hiding places or not. But they can be revealed by clicking the left analog stick (L3 on PS3); this works for chests, barrels, and vases as well.

EP will help improve the quality of items in the "Bucket" of what those places can drop.

Okay thanks all.was hopeful for a shining beacon when adding points to EP, yet I now understand from you folks that it just increases the quality of the drops that you would normallyfind in those areas. So again thanks for the input.

Heh... I still click...click...click as I'm playing looking for those hiding spots... you figure I'd have them all memorized by now

 

Forgot about the quality issue, oops... but I remember, possibly incorrectly, that taking EP will "help notice the hiding spots better" or something like that. But in my experience with EP or no EP, it seems they are "random", sometimes they are not there, sometimes they are.
