Envy 360 0
Hello, I'm having trouble unlocking the mount quest, I already talked to the girl with the glowing aurora but she only responds with quotes or says she's to busy. I was also unable to buy a horse from the High Elf Post. Can anybody give out any tips? Thanks Level 12 High Elf Platform: Xbox 360 Link to comment

Did you read what she said the first time you talked to her? Or checked your quest book or the map, for that matter? She isn't the one you buy the mount from. You have to go find her brother who is sort of down and out in Urthak's Moxie, who will tell you he lost the map somewhere and if you retrieve it, he will show you how to read it. Once you retrieve it, he will send you to the docks where you then take a trip to the Mount Island and there, the Ogre Priest running the place will give you a series of quests - you have to beat three rounds of successively nastier lots of T-energy monsters to pass the Ogre Priest's tests. THEN, and only then can you buy a mount from the Ogre Priest. Level 12...? That seems a bit low to be running this quest, btw... Be prepared and pack a LOT of health potions... Thanks, I checked everything out but never received any quest from her to get started. I was having trouble with the servers that day but I didn't know what the cause was. I decided to start a new game and was able to get "Unique Mounts" that time. *I see what you meant by potions lol, she's really going to be used for online co-op with 3 buddies of mine so she'll be dealing damage from a distance while two of them are CQC. Happy to say the new char is level 27 and hasn't reached Octagolamus yet. But thank you for the help, I really did appreciate it. Link to comment

Sounds like the game was fubar and in which case, starting over is indeed the smart move. You're welcome btw... Link to comment
