Can't install on german language Community Patch?

Hello everyone!

 

I got a problem.I've the original sacred2 gold edition in German and tried to install the community patch(on windows xp) to play with friends.

The problem is if I press enable-patch it says the language is not supported.If I press on the ignore button it says that sacred 2 is not installed.

 

Does anyone have any solutions?

Hi Torak,

 

please try to run the S2Reset Tool against your installation. (CM Patch Post, Troubleshooting section.)

 

It seems that some editions of the gold version have slightly altered files. (The russian gold version I.e.)

 

If this does not resolve the issue, there is sth. wrong with your Sacred 2 registry entries. A reinstall from your current OS user account should fix that.
