wolfie2kX 528
I enden up going out to Elgiganten to look at monitors and saw the samsung posted above only thing I can say is it was ugly to look at, then wify had been out scooping around before me and found this monitor an lg saw it running some games trailers on it and WOW! is all I can say it also got 85/100 in a test and 4/5 starts and it looks so sexy. so what kinda adapter do I need here monitor http://www.computersalg.dk/produkt/623288?varenummer=623288&utm_source=PriceRunner&utm_medium=PriceRunnerLINK&utm_campaign=PriceRunner Good to see you went looking before buying. And that you found a monitor you like! There's NO substitute for seeing a monitor in person. Other parts, eh.. You can get away with buying without seeing them. Looking at CPU isn't going to tell you much about it's performance. But a monitor is ALL about the visuals and the quality of the display. Link to comment

DaveO 88
You want to take a look at the DVI output first. It's possible that you don't have a male(it will have pins) DVI output. You want to make sure that the adapter connects correctly on both ends. In regards to adapters, it is possible to get bad ones so I'd find a place with the largest selection and then narrowing the field via user reviews or finding more information via Google searching. It may perform just fine without having to go thru the contortion and expense of getting an adapter. The monitor should come with one of those AND a standard VGA cable. Most monitors do. DaveO 88
I hope you get many years of use out of that monitor. You could check into replacement costs as well as what the warranty covers. Link to comment
