The odd thing I thought was the lack of any ABM's even though he has silo level 3... I love these kinda players its like a challenge, that and the fact that he has met mine 25 and cyrstal 22 So I built a silo up to level 4 and built me some IPM's. Every time I scanned him his fleet was there like he doesnt even fleet save cause of his "uber defences" Now I have to say this was an expensive exercise it should have net 500k profit, BUT things did not go as planned... last night I launched the attack to hit at 2am my time I had fired the first 14 IPM's as I launched the attack but had some still building so intended to launch another 6 just before the attack hit... about 20 mins before the attack hit my internet went down on all 4 computers... I tried everything eventually calling the service provider who advised that due to a routine upgrade my internet would be down for another 3 hours and "there was nothing they could do..." frantic and now with 5 - 10 minutes till the attack hit I got in the car and raced to my mums house, she lives nearby... getting there I rang her mobile woke her up raced inside to her computer got the dialup connection going and logged in... 2 minutes too late :argh: :wall: the result, well I was supposed to lose 300k units in the attack... I can just imagine all that grea satisfaction to have been had with all yer planning going off like clock work and the guy seeing the ipms coming, heh! sweeeeeeeeet Well...at least you got something... And lol, this kinda reflects back on a post I made on another forum about ogame...which was...what do we do when the lights go out? lol, I was seriously thinking of buying an emergency power source for my comp just to make a coupla of fleet saves! heh...dunno what it's possible ta do in yer case. Though you sher thought fast on yer feet and got to another comp fast! lol, maybe we should all write up an emergency list of internet cafes that are all within a fifteen minutes distance!
