Ankhanu 0
Now, I should first say that I didn't sim this out, but used guess work based on tech and defense levels. I sent one of my deathstars out on an attack on a nearby inactive, figuring that I should win, or at least reduce his defense somewhat... What happened:) At 10-02 22:38:57, as it came to a battle: Attacker Ankhanu (X:XXX:XX) Weapons: XXX% Shields: XXX% Armour: XXX% Type: Deathstar Total: 1 Defender SIRATTACKEDALOT (X:XXX:XX) Weapons: XXX% Shields: XXX% Armour: XXX% Type: R.Launcher L.Laser H.Laser Gauss L.Dome Total: 240 633 83 5 1 After battle... Attacker Ankhanu (X:XXX:XX) Type: Deathstar Total: 1 Defender SIRATTACKEDALOT (X:XXX:XX) Type: R.Launcher L.Laser H.Laser Total: 5 12 2 He captured - metal, - crystal and - deuterium. The attacker lost a total of 0 units. The defender lost a total of 2.635.000 units. At these space coordinates now float 0 metal and 0 crystal. The chance for a moon to be created is 0 %. -- Created by Takana's CR Converter v1.930 beta - Dragon Takana -- So very close to a victory! But the day was not mine. With one more round everything would have been kosher, but alas. So, I figured that with reduced defenses, the second hit should definately go through, right? At 10-03 08:11:17, as it came to a battle: Attacker Ankhanu (X:XXX:XX) Weapons: XXX% Shields: XXX% Armour: XXX% Type: Deathstar Total: 1 Defender SIRATTACKEDALOT (X:XXX:XX) Weapons: XXX% Shields: XXX% Armour: XXX% Type: R.Launcher L.Laser H.Laser Gauss L.Dome Total: 179 509 61 3 1 After battle... Attacker Ankhanu (X:XXX:XX) Type: Deathstar Total: 1 Defender SIRATTACKEDALOT (X:XXX:XX) Type: R.Launcher L.Laser H.Laser Gauss Total: 32 87 11 2 He captured - metal, - crystal and - deuterium. The attacker lost a total of 0 units. The defender lost a total of 1.673.000 units. At these space coordinates now float 0 metal and 0 crystal. The chance for a moon to be created is 0 %. -- Created by Takana's CR Converter v1.930 beta - Dragon Takana -- BOM BOM BOMMMMMM Not only did it draw again, but the defender, with less defense than last time, was less damaged than the initial attack! What the frig SO now I have both deathstars on a single mission for a visit. He doesn't even have that much res sitting there, it's the principle now. At least this entire venture has only cost me 4 Deuterium Link to comment
Guest gogoblender
lol sims are cool and weird. Especially with the rips. I've done countless sims with rips v.s. def, fleets and combinted def and fleet and just like you...the results have often astounded if not completely surprised me. Glad yer sending in two. After all...it's all about the principle. Happy bashing to you sir. gogo Link to comment
Ankhanu 0
The follow up... someone else seems to have hit him twice in the time it took to make my three attacks, so the profits are lower than they should have been... but it's all profit. At 10-04 04:43:17, as it came to a battle: Attacker Ankhanu (X:XXX:XX) Weapons: XXX% Shields: XXX% Armour: XXX% Type: Deathstar Total: 2 Defender SIRATTACKEDALOT (X:XXX:XX) Weapons: XXX% Shields: XXX% Armour: XXX% Type: R.Launcher L.Laser H.Laser Gauss L.Dome Total: 88 289 28 2 1 After battle... Ankhanu 0
Oh, right, before the RIP missions I also sniped a minor DF around this colony, which adds to the colony's profit. Link to comment
