Ankhanu 0
This is a recipe that I haven't encountered outside my family. I rather enjoy it, hope you folks might too. It's pretty easy: 2-4 chicken breasts 1 cup white vinegar 3/4 cup Catchup 1 cup white sugar 1tsp --- dry mustard --- paprika --- garlic powder --- yellow curry powder bit of black pepper 3tbs Worcestershire sauce Simmer the sauce (without the chicken) on the stove for 5 min; add the chicken, and put it in the oven at about 350 until cooked, basting the chicken now and again. Serve with rice, with the sauce on it. Link to comment

Guest gogoblender
It actually sounds really great I'm curious however...why do we have to simmer the chicken first on teh stove before we bake it? lol, I'm a no goodnik with using an oven so I'm always curious about this kinda stuff gogo Link to comment
Ankhanu 0
You don't simmer the chicken, just the sauce. Though you don't HAVE to do that, just mix it well. I think the simmering is just to even out the sauce mixture. I don't tend to simmer it. Link to comment
