Besides not being grouped together with Deadly Catch like most "chain quests" are, the reward is at the least a bit weird...does it have any use besides selling to a NPC?

As I good remember this item is connected with special quest. Or I should write... was connected. Unfortunately, from what I know, this quest was abandonned by devs. So now it's useless item. Maybe with future patch something change but I really doubt.

To that kind of items belong also for example "Basket with sweets". Every class have similiar quest with useless item. Collecting all items probably could start special quest or do something, but now we cannot solve this riddle, because this "quest" isn't programmed by developers :/
