Now let's talk about the movie:

The movie

 

Wolf Creek- the name has some meaning- it's a crater where 3 people are visiting- I expected that iwa s one of the alien horror movies -

 

the movie is not that full of gore- i5 was not that psychotic either, and it was not about ET life. it's about human nature

 

the characters are just too innocent ! One man and two women-

 

I mean come on- you don't trust strangers who offer you to tow your car to whichever destintion in the middle of nowhere, and in the dark!! Moreover- the women has jelly arms- they could barely defend themselves- against the villain- a solid built older man on a truch with 5 bright lights! one might ask what is he doing outta no where?!

 

the way he laughs and talks not only spell the word CREEP but the way he dressed, w/ the long hat ?

 

Ok, I might be too clinical - but if I were stranded in the middle of nowhere I might do the same thing- but considering if I travel with two girls, that they might get hurt-wouldn't you rather wait until the morning to get help ? We don't even know whether the old man was armed or not!

 

Anyways, I thought the 1st part of the movie was crap because of too many obvious mistakes that most people wouldn't do!

 

all the characters went to sleep when the old man was repairing the car

 

2nd mistake- they should be alert at all times if they are being helped by a stranger- we never know what are the intentions

 

Change of perspective

 

As a result the girl was strapped- and wakes up inside a warehouse-

she got out and wanders around to hear a scream of her friend being tortured

 

If I were her what would be the options?

if you see you're friend being tortured, the first instinct is of course to help

 

she saved her friend and managed to hurt the old man- Ok that is cool- she tried murdering him but of course she can't.... she should have at least tried paralysing him- but of course she wasn't herself she was nervous- she does not have a guy's rational mind- she doesn't think (no offence to girls)

 

Mistake 3 - not paralyzing the man and let him chase after you

 

anyways 4th mistake the most flagrant is pushing off the car off the cliff to make him belive that the two girls are dead. COME ON! RUN WHILE YOU CAN!

 

The old man has served during the nam war!

 

5th mistake going back, the girl linger too long at hostile territory reading useless junk

 

6th mistake- not finding a weapon of defence

 

7th mistake -- didnt efficienty check whether the place she is in was secrured

 

8th mistake - thinking that a lil army knife will save her! she is dead as a resukt

 

ok the movie was psychologically torturing because u see so many stoopid stuff happening!

 

NOT BECAUSE OF THE ICKY stuff the old man was trying or had done!

 

2nd mistake of the saved and assaulted gurl- running to a road

 

3rd mistake - she didn't deternine which way to go

 

4 th mistake- was running on the road in plain sight-

 

5th mistake trying to outrun the old man when she could still negotiate with him and outsmart him

(very not probable since she is quite defenseless) She died as a result!

2 nd mistake he ran away- to the desert - without any warm clothes on!!

 

3rd mistake - running too much in the desert- it causes dehydration with the heat during the day, and during the night when temp will drastically drop (it's a desert!! everyone knows what happen there) but then any one desperate enuff to save themselves might not think thoroughly...

 

4th mistake- he let the villain win!

oh I so agree with you! it was hard to believe, but this was the supposed story of the boy that made it away, could it have been the story of what he did to them? well they did let him off of the murder charge, and since it was "based" on a true story, u gotta think how the hell did he know what happened, while he was unconscious for over half of the movie lol! When I rented it I actually thought it would be about uh...wolves lmao! I was wrong! I swear tho if I had gotten the chance with that gun, OMG it would have been SOOOOOO over.... and there was a time in the movie where I would have walked the hell away! I'd hate it for them but there wasnt any other chance for her other then leaving, obviously since she died.

 

Getting a little tired of all the B gory movies out there. they are coming in our movie store like crazy and they are all the same almost... either zombies, naked zombie women, or flesh eating whatevers... lmao

storylines are getting old.... what about the Saw's:) Now they were MUCH more inventive... but I have to give it to "based on true stories* that usually gets me to watch it no matter what it is !

p.s. btw this movie scared the dickens out of me. WAs too intense, too realesque...couldn't watch more than half of it. Guess I'm just a softie fer this kind of stuff

lol couldnt handle it and u want naked zombie girls lol u might want to rethink that... other then well u know the naked part they always make them tooo....uh....hungry might be the right word lol!! NOW thats scary!

I dont remember the last movie I couldnt sit through... Hostel upset me alot it was a nasty scary unbelievable not so soft porn lmao! Im ok with some stuff but man that was DIRTY!!

 

 

were you talking about SAWS or wolf creek that was too scary?

 

If it was saw 1 or 2 u have to get over it and watch them both.. VERY VERY INVENTIVE and worth the watch... the endings are very intriguing as well... it is a must!

Personally I thought Wolf Creek was pretty good.... the characters seemed very realistic to me....there were a few flaws in the story line I spose but overall I think it was well done....scary at times but not as bad as I expected....eeek! I think I have been desensitised

 

I watched Saw 2 the other day too...and that was much harder to handle for me....freakier and scarier than the first and just as good! I recommend it, as long as you dont have a weak stomach /wink
