  1. Which is expensive... I do not expect to actually see it, but I can still dream. Or let PC players play with OSX players, or UNIX players... hell... what I'd really love to see is an OSX release! Sux to have to keep booting into the pc just to play Sacred. (Intel Mac) I'm talking cross-platform... and while your at it, cross-server. Being locked into using a pc to play is just as annoying as being locked into a single server to play. —— Aesthir
  2. Okay, I have a bunch of dual wield questions: -- Do you swing with your right or left hand first always? is it random which you swing with first? or do you swing with one hand first preferentially (but not always)? Assuming you swing with right hand first always, -- Is the damage you do dependent on the weapon in your right hand or is every hit it the average of both your weapons? Also, -- If one of your weapons has a mod like Direct Damage x%, Leech life x%, etc... do you get this chance when swinging with your other weapon which does not have this mod? This goes for any mod. If so, is there any mod this does not work for? -- Do you have an 'off' hand? or are you ambidextrous? ie... is damage/chance to hit/any factor in one hand less than the other when wielding 2 weapons? -- If so, does it help wielding a small weapon in your 'off' hand? or is wielding 2 large weapons the same? -- If not, is there any difference whatsoever, no matter how small (other than the way you look, and which weapon is defaulted to switch when right-clicking a new weapon) when swapping hands? ie. Is damage calculated differently or something? Does it sound different when attacking? is it possible to change anything by swapping hands? Thx in advance!
  3. For the baby bear (mama's favorite), who grows up when you hit the path to dragonmaw pass, the quest is called Tutorial Relics... the bear is a great distraction for a ranged fighter such as my dragon mage and bfg seraphim... it does crap for damage so even though you get no xp for his kills, it only manages to kill 1 out of every 5000 or so monsters. There are some creatures which it does not attack, however, and so is useless at drawing them to him for those. As for Urzi the bear... he does way more damage than mama's favorite... and can probably kill 1 out of every 500 or so monsters I kill (this bear is bigger than mama's favorite... Although no xp for kills, this really doesn't matter at all. I always use both of these bears for my ranged fighters at every difficulty level by not completing their respective quests. Mama's favorite takes damage but heals to full everytime it dies (not comsuming any of your health potions either), whereas Urzi never takes damage. Essentially, both are immortal. However, some creatures are ignored by these bears, like some undead/demons. Each bear attacks and ignores a different set of monsters, does anyone feel like compiling a list of ignored? That would take some time, but hasn't been done yet as far as I know. Also, the bears do not level at anytime... they stay the same throughout the game. Urzi is actually quite strong in act 1, but basically useless later on at damaging anything. Regardless, they are great at drawing enemy damage away from you and aggroing mobs around them (instead of you) to be blown away.
  4. At the risk of sounding like a total n00b... how do I get these mounts in my game? I just see fey drakes for the elf... btw, I loooove the nightmare in MTG as well, lol... that and the fallen angel pics were the main reason I liked black so much... - Aesthir
  5. I'm playing the latest version, 2.65.2 and the xp mod works for me... dunno where it doesn't work but it gives me a 10% bonus to xp. That adds up over hours and hours... - Aesthir
  6. Omg! What a rip! I got a hardcore inquisitor up to level 48 and was running around without a care thinking my doppleganger buff would die if ever I die. Not the case! damn... It still counts as a death when the doppleganger takes your place... in hardcore, you die, making this feature useless. In normalm you still get the status 'respawned', a death is remembered, and you lose your survival bonus. I was under the impression the inquisitor had a second chance when dying while doppleganger active. Aw well, live and learn... live and learn... - Aesthir
