  1. You may be thinking what does a PS3 Kart Racers have to do with Sacred. Well I will show you... Since the game doesn't allow you to attach objects beyond stickers to the characters body (It wouldn't work sitting in a Kart), the Armor is made of Stickers and there are no Wings but even so I think it turned out quite well.
  2. Factors that affect HP regen include: Max HP (Including any HP+ on equipment) Vitality Attribute Constitution Skill Regen bonuses given by the above 3 factors will not work in combat unless you have mastered constitution. Combat Arts (Grand Invigoration, Ancient Bark, Goldenglade Touch, etc.) HP regen +X/s mods These generally work all the time in or out of battle
  3. The seraphim build has bargaining so a lot of good equipment can be bought from shops, Scooby has a section on shopping in the guide which gives good tips regarding the use of bargaining. The Shadow Warrior isn't so lucky and will probably have to find the majority of his gear and rely more on Uniques/Set items. As for finding Unique items, like Tinwora's Curse, and set armor, it's random, any enemy will have a chance of dropping them and there are not any specific places where you will have higher chances of finding specific pieces. Generally bosses (particularly optional bosses) have a better drop rate and drop more items as do Elite (Champion) versions of standard enemies but it is still no guarantees.
  4. Thanks The thing I am least happy with is definitely the current problem with Battle Stance that prevents scrolling down on the details menus when it is active. I made showing the mods difficult and the bonus overview impossible.
  5. Got my Capture card today and decided to test it out, since the cables and splitters I ordered ae not here yet I was having to play off of the small screen on the capture software, hopefully tomorrow I will be able to play on my TV while recording even if it will have to be in SD. I converted it from 720x480 to 1280x720 so it could be viewed in Youtube HD to preserve some of the quality but it lost a bit in the process. As I said it is nothing special just me running around Souh-East Hissil'ta for a while on Niob before killing the dragon, poor dragon didn't know what hit it. Enjoy
  6. Have you considered the fact that any All Skill+ on the bargaining suit would have been increasing Enhanced perception as well?
  7. I hope not I got a capture card coming in the next few days, I will only be able to play in 480i when I record but I should be fairly good quality. I think I will run through the bosses with my Seraphim first. Only a cheap Easycap USB device, with the necessary cables to view it on my TV while recording it cost me less than £25. Here is a good example of the quality you can get from it:
  8. Lets see, this will probably be unnecessarily lengthy. Since my dad was in the Navy and worked at the Naval Hospital there I went to St Christopher's First School (MOD) in Gibraltar untill I was 6 (Year 2). Then I moved back to the UK and went to St John's C of E Primary School in Gosport ( for a few months before moving a couple of miles and going to Holbrook Primary School in Bridgemary (Gosport) finished my primary education there at 10/11(Year 6). After went to the nearby Secondary School, Bridgemary Community School (Fun Fact: One of the houses visible in that map is where I still live). In year 10 and 11 I decided to the following GCSEs take Double Science (since it wasn't a compulsory subject ), French, IT and Geography. In adition to the compulsory English Language and Literature, Maths and Religious Education. I got more than sufficient grades to go to 6th form College for 2 years (age 16-18) at St Vincent College. St. Vincent's Main Gate/Clocktower. I believe the front buildings were military barracks at somepoint. I took Physics, Mathematics with Mechanics and Business Studies A Levels and a unit called Diploma in Financial Studies, did well enough in those to take a Batchelors Degree, staying close to home I chose The University of Portsmouth which coincidentally had a a vey interesting course (BSc Econ Hons Economics, Finance and Banking) since it is a city university it is spread out a bit but all my Seminars/Lectures are centered around the Business School. Currently on summer break before starting my 3rd and final year in October and I am just hovering above the 70% needed to get a 1st class Honors. Richmond Building, the Business School itself.
  9. Started again and took a slightly different skill order, which annoyingly is different again from how I would do it if I were to start over. Got to 15 and all is going well so far. I will try to make 50 if it stil working I may begin to write up a guide an add to it as I progress towards Niob.
  10. Sadly nay for both the Unyeilding wall is not in my chest which means my Melee High Elf must be using it and someone else has asked for he Quetzal's first strike. Between here and my Gamefaqs topic I have given away about 200 space of items. I think I will leave it there for today, I don't want people posting during the night that I may not be able to trade with due to time differences. I will probably re-open this topic in the next few days to get rid of more stuff.
  11. Getting something to eat, I don't want a backlog of requests when I return
  12. Someone elsewhere has already asked for the Dyshea's Hunter the other two are ok.
  13. Trading is easier at level 1, I am 4 so any level 1-14.
  14. Levels? I guess Helmet of the Seraish 80 Shoulders of Law 61 Endijian's Wings 75 Endijian's Relics 75 Kernforce's Cutlass 62 In which case all are ok
  15. I pretend I didn't see that if you change it quickly. All the others are OK
  16. My Hero Chest is over 1823/1872 so I need to free some space. The Rules 1) One post per person, make it in this topic (not my trade topic) 2) You may request up to 5 items, I will give a yay or nay for each and you get any I say yay to. No changing your mind if I say nay to items. 3) The offer stops when I get below 1000/1872 4) I may allow a second post after a few days if I still have lots to get rid of. 5) Not sure this will work, but, If you have something I want (refer to the top of the trade topic) that you don't need, please offer it. I will allow another 5 items if you do. 6)Leave you PSN in the post so I can contact you more easily when I am available to trade. Excluded Items In light of rule 2 I will list some items that I guarantee will receive a nay, there will be other items in use or intended for use but I cant recall them all. Officer's Sabers Level 20 Ancrid's Blades Any Twilight of the Gods Peices (Holy Protection/Sofia's Protection/Wristguards of Dusk if I had any) Tinwora's Curse Chestplate of Time Robe of Innocence Greaves of the Heirs The List For a list of what I have refer to my trade topic http://darkmatters.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=11195
  17. You only gain the bonuses of the weapons you are using. If it were different I would currently have 7 sets of 2 officers sabers equipped each with about +30% experience per kill, and another 3 sets of 2 slot weapons with 20% leaving 2 slots for my Main Weapons and Pelting Strikes. I make that +560% experience, that would be great.
  18. I have heard of people loosing items after trades and from what I can discern the save it makes when the trade is accepted saves while the items offered are still in the offered sections, I.e. no one has them, then it gives the item to the other player. A second problem is that the host leaving the game does not save the progress on anyone else in the game. That means if someone joins your game you trade then you quit before they can manually save they will lose any items they were given.
  19. I know it can be good with melee weapons, my friend crashed his PS3 bringing down a large group of 15+ mobs all at once with it.
  20. Background I started a Ranged Dryad yesterday due to my skill preferences the defensive skills took a back seat to other skills. At level 30 my Skills are as follows: 2 - Capricious Hunter Focus 30 3 - Enhanced Perception 5 5 - Bargaining 11 8 - Tactics Lore 30 12 - Concentration 1 18 - Nature Weaver Focus 9 25 - Ranged Weapons 1 And my plan was to take 35 - Combat Reflexes 50 - Armor Lore 65 - Constitution A few levels ago I decided to use my bargaining with some money from my seraphim to put together an All CAs + suit that was capable of getting me to about level 20-25 (1 Rune) on both Ancient Bark and Sinister Predator, then I would switch back to my other equips. This is the same Buff Boosting tactic I used on my 116 Seraphim's Battle Stance. Having done this I found that nothing could inflict any noticeable damage upon me so I removed my armor all together and just allowed my relics and Ancient bark to provide my armor and I was fine, even went and took down the Carnach at 26 standing still with no armor on. The Idea The idea is this, I don't take the 3 Defensive skills at 35 50 and 65, and instead take: 35 - Nature Weaver Lore 50 - Combat Discipline 65 - Something (Maybe Dual Wield for some variety and in anticipation of INT affecting weapon based combat art damage with staffs equipped, on consoles) I am going to get to 35 and take a look at the effect of Nature Weaver Lore on the Physical/Poison armor and HP regen from Ancient Bark, if I like what I see I will start again and take Invigorate over Effortless for Bark's gold mod, and try it into the higher levels. Since I play on Ps3 I can equip 6 relics at once (up to 3 of one type) that means I can keep 2 Magic, 2 Fire and 2 Ice on at all time to cover the armor types Ancient Bark doesn't. I also hope to use the large and varied armor bonus from a Chestplate of Time to supplement. Possible Problems - the ones I have foreseen at least. No armor lore means I will suffer in terms of movement by equipping anything that is a higher level than me, all my armor will be bargained except for a Chestplate of Time so I can avoid that problem somewhat. No armor lore could result in significant Regeneration penalties from armor. My 116 seraphim took armor lore at 3 so I don't know how this will work out. More Info Armor (at 29) - 2273 Physical - 1051 Magic - 261 Fire - 205 Poison - 500 Ice - 256 CA Mods Ancient Bark Rugged -> Divert - > Effortless Ravaged Impact Perforate -> Breach -> Darting Assault Reload -> Throwback -> Rotate Sinister Predator Eagle Eye - Marked Shot -> Hunting Focus Any comments or suggestions would be nice, especially form those more experienced with Dryads in the higher difficulties.
  21. The 5% + 5% per CA level life leech is definitely wrong, I don't know how the percentage is actually calculated but it does increase maybe with the CA level, maybe due to something else. Someone may correct me on this but, as far as I know the amount of life leeched is a percentage of the damage of magic coup (as shown on the CA details) and actually adds to the damage of the attack (Although the additional damage does not feature in the details). For example assume the life leech is 20% and magic coup shows 800-1000 damage, the actual damage will be 960-1200 assuming the opponent has no armor/mitigation (as that would reduce the 800-1000) and you will gain 160-200 HP recovery. One big advantage of this is that life leech damage cannot be reduced by armor which makes it useful against magic resistant enemies, it also has a nice bonus with the stray damage mod. Without question you should definitely take the Stray Damage gold mod, the critical chance does not make up for the chance of hitting enemies near the target, and later on the chance of stray damage activating can get very high. The damage from Stray Damage is only a portion of the actual damage of magic coup (~50% I think) but the any additional targets hit will also have life leech activate on them and it will do the full damage to all targets. Using the above example an additional opponent would take 400-500 damage (50% of the total) but life leech would still steal 160-200 from the additional target. You can see how life leech could inflict a lot of additional damage as the % goes up. For proof that life leech adds damage, if you need it, once you have life leech you may notice that magic coup often does more damage that the Combat Art details show it should.
  22. Boosting Combat Arts through equipment bonuses does still incur the same partial level penalties if you go past the maximum level without penalty. There is however another benefit, a level gained by an equipment bonus only gives half the Regeneration Time/Penalty(for Buffs) increase as using a rune does. So if at level 4 the regen time for your Pelting Strikes is 3.0s and the details say at level 5 you will have a regen time of 3.6s. If you gain a level from a Pelting Strikes +1 bonus on your equipment your level 5 Pelting Strikes would have a regen time of 3.3s not 3.6s.
