  1. Mine is a Melee TG, just wondering if I should mod Combat Alert into Battle Aura or leave it, now I only have to wait a few seconds between when it ends to when I can recast it, but I find this tedious and would rather be using my other CAs.
  2. Couldn't you simply leave ZD as an activated CA rather than a buff? Think the wiki says that with enough +CA/skills on your equipment and enough points in AS Focus you could have the summoned time exceed the recharge time, effectively making it a buff w/o penalties. Then at mastery you could have the 3 main buffs active (though I agree about soul reaver being counterproductive to Inqs. who use Purifying Chastisement) or just have 2 active and have better regen times. For me regen time/rune eating often isn't a problem, socket a couple +regen per hit and spammability goes up dramatically. I'd be playing this game forever if I did that...
  3. Items I've found: Annealed Annealed Blade, General's Energy Weapon of Energy, Energy Energizer, and I'm pretty sure I've found a Wicked Wicked Blade before. Anyone else found/have items like this?
  4. Seen a lot of mods here, think I might know of one or two more... PlanetElderScrolls
  5. Great game, open world with plenty of quests, awesome character/class customization and a few addons/expansions, and if you're on pc there are a ton of mods.
  6. Man is it awesome! Bought it, thought it was only ok 'til I really started playing it. For anyone who likes building giant mechs and/or playing mech vs. mech games, I recommend this. Current build is a light quadruped dual blade AC w/ improved back/side boosters. Love those 3000 km/h blade strikes (actually more effective than regular boosters).
  7. also, Enemy Health for Deathblow % and possibly (depending on class) Damage of enraged players %. Think I'm going to try Modding an Inquisitor for Purifying Chastisement w/ max damage bonus @ 35% health, as well as Sword of the Blood Dryads x2. Add in his neutral unique mount (+10% melee damage if I'm not mistaken) and that's a lot of damage.
  8. Saw a video about Runes of Magic, mostly intercut with WoW clips to show how it's a clone in every way (pics of their official pages even looked similar). I've heard about games that are similar to WoW (anyone seen aion clips?) but this looked exactly like WoW in a less polished state. That being said, if they can make it work it'd be cool, the microtransaction thing sounds interesting, only bad thing I can think of is when you get community complaints regarding -balance-, mostly for pvp stuff (people that spend the money can get better equipment [or whatever] sooner than others).
  9. Heh, don't think they'll run out of community suggestions/ideas any time soon
  10. So many suggestions...hopefully not too much time. Anyone copied & pasted the hopes for sacred 3 & character cust. threads to their site yet?
  11. orc tech saw sounds cool, I think in general more weapons with moving/floating parts would be cool (I.e. a sword with floating sections of blade that are joined by Essence/T-Energy). I also think a cool unique/legendary weapon would be a repeater crossbow with lots of +% attack speed (anyone seen Van Helsing? That crossbow).
  12. They just rename fireballs into "Magic Incendiary Grenades" Another great thing to have in Ancaria would be a Chainsaw weapon. Yeah. I don't think a chainsaw-like weapon would be too far out of the question, what with t-energy constructs (the Temple Guardain, his Mobiculum, The Great Machine and it's Guardians) and magic it seems like it'd be plausible for Ancaria to see many magical constructs (weapons w/ magically animated parts [if people in Ancaria can resurrect dead things/animate bones why wouldn't they make chainsaws, that and they already have energy guns...] like chainsaws [a central component w/ blades animated by or made of T-energy perhaps?] vehicles, etc. etc.). Wait...so there are energy pistols/staves in Sacred 2 but it takes them 1000 years to make a crossbow? ...
  13. Hey, I play on the ps3 and I think that the temple statues may be bugged (god statues in the wilderness seem to work fine), and as to the problem with the hero statues, I think they're also bugged but I have seen a post that said on the PC if you're on your mount when trying to activate the statue it doesn't work, so you might try dismounting (didn't work for me though...).
  14. So, read the Gameinformer article about DA2, and any doubts I had about it have be assuaged. I actually like the idea of a more Mass Effect type character creation (going to miss being able to pick my character's race/origin, but I guess this will alleviate problems that arose [for me, at least] from race/origin selection {namely race stat bonuses and origin story skill-kind of forced you to pick a certain race/origin for optimal class play} as well as adding a voice to the main character as well as cinematics that make you feel more involved in what's going on), and while I don't enjoy micromanaging my party (NEED MORE TACTICS SLOTS) if it becomes a necessity in DA2 it seems like it will be more enjoyable than it would be in Origins. The only thing I'm concerned about is the narration/time travel aspect, having the story told in flashback from someone else's POV bugs me, I like feeling like things are happening as I'm playing, not like everything I do is all some (to the narrator) past event (told by the narrator, meaning it's not necessarily what -actually- happened, aka "So I'm not actually playing as the real Hawke?). If the time jumping element is selectable (a certain scenario is "finished" and then you are given the choice to keep exploring or jump to the next part of the story) then I'll be fine with it, though I actually liked being able to travel around and do things at my own pace (would have liked faster travel/more battles during travel [when you want to get somewhere quick this'd be bad, but when you just want to fight stuff or aren't in a rush it'd be nice to break up the monotony] but I don't want scenarios where someone says "Oh, glad that's over," and suddenly you're thrown into the next scenario.
  15. I'll have to look for it, though forsaken world was only the focus of the video for a minute or two, might have better luck searching youtube for a video exclusively about Forsaken World (of Warcraft).
  16. Saw a little bit about this in some E3 fan video, looks just like WoW, but with more style (skill animations look more flashy). Thoughts?
  17. I always do the Blind Guardian and Undead Legion side quests on every difficulty (except perhaps bronze), for extra experience as well as some weapons (if you have something better they can just be sold/put in the chest for other characters). Other than that I'd say you might want to do your Class Quest. Other than that I usually rush through to get to gold (then I do more side quests but still rush through). Plat/Niob are unlocked in the same way (clearing gold->plat etc.)
  18. Thought up more stuff that'll most likely not be in DA2. Character Personality Instead of just choosing a voice at the beginning you choose an alignment, good or evil (won't determine ability to get good/bad endings, just determines whether your character is nice or nasty, mostly would affect dialogue choices/possible romances/battle speech), then choose 2 personality characteristics (smart/impulsive/violent/petty/arrogant/etc.) that would affect dialogue choices/battle speech for your character (in addition to stat based dialogue choices). Honestly don't think this will be in any DA game any time soon, but it'd be awesome, imbuing your character with more personality (adds more RP value, being able to make a hesitant/cowardly rogue, impulsive and arrogant mage, or a witty and violent warrior). Races: Qunari (I mean, we already have Sten right? And it sounds like we might be seeing more of the Qunari in the future...), Golem (Kol Sharok-that dwarven city that's supposed to have survived being locked in with the darkspawn, might have more golems-lot of possible content with this unknown place. Golems might have lyrium infused plate armor, take ideas from Shale-armor serves more as a setting for the crystals, better armor has no inherent stat bonuses-has more slots for crystals), Demon/Abomination (maybe not demon, but some things Wynne said made it sound like some mages might be able to retain their sanity/sense of self even after spirit possession. Or maybe that could be another mage specialization-Dark Vessel-last talent in the line would be a sustained-make you look all abomination-y). Hm...seems I've gone from hoping for things in DA2 to just listing ideas I've had about it...sorry about that.
  19. Dye Kits! They would be perfect in this game. Oh and full party commands (example: open radial->advanced->party move->target area->celebration for people that don't like micromanaging the whole party). Maybe some more advanced character tactics (rather than selecting an ability to use on (whatever) maybe have *thought processes* (generate hostility->tanking, buff melee/mage->support, attack priority->damage) and full party tactics designations (example: Party health/mana/stamina below x%-> use/activate ability [can't express how much I wanted this one for Wynne's Group Heal/Mass Rejuvination]). And bring Avernus back to complete his research (this DLC needed more, could have been a whole altnernate story). Co-op/PvP? Think an arena where players team up and fight waves of enemies or choose to fight eachother would be pretty fun (and would provide endless enemies if the story mode enemies are all dead [Need enemy respawn, don't like building a character up just to have a couple battles where my build is actually complete, and this would open up over-capping).
  20. 1st: I hope they do more to fix the bugs, not that they were gamebreaking in Origins, but still, fewer bugs = good 2nd: Trim the fat. Abilities: Does anyone use Disorient (or do you just take it to get to sleep/horror/waking nightmare?)? There seem to be a few abilities that can generally be pushed aside because they're just not as useful as others (the whole arcane line that mages start with from what I've heard, except for the shield if you're an Arcane Warrior). 3rd: More specialization w/ Specializations. I think it'd be better if there were at least 2 rows of abilities for specializations (rather than just 1), perhaps going either passive or active paths (Champion that naturally buffs allies or one that has more short term stat boosts/special effects for the party). I think it's fine how it is (surprising how one ability [combat magic/blood magic] can affect playstyle so much) I just wish that when I chose a specialization it felt more, well...specialized. I don't want it to get to the point where the players' freedom is taken away, but I think many will agree that when you choose to be a (insert specialization here) you want to really see a different style come into play (wish there were more blood magic/reaver talents/spells etc.) rather than just getting a stat boost and a few new skills (many of which are passive skills). 4th: More filler battles. Namely more random battles while traveling, "Where are all the darkspawn? I THOUGHT THERE WAS A BLIGHT!" Which would pave the way for... 5th: Higher soft level cap or more talent points per level (maybe 1.5 per level so every other level you get 2-one thing I didn't like was having to wait until level 17+ to actually see the build I was working on come together). 6th: A release date in the very near future. 7th: Oh and better looking Mage and light armor sets. What's Your Dragon Age 2 Wish List?
  21. Lol, funny how I would have thought this game had it's fair share of bugs, except that I played Sacred 2 first . Yeah I don't have the expansion yet (got all of the other dlc except Leliana's song and Darkspawn story) although I want to get it eventually (still trying out different builds/getting my fill of the game before I try moving up to Hard/Nightmare modes). Probably the worst bug I've had was when I entered the deserted house in Denerim and tried to access my Radial Menu right when the Autosave started (game would freeze like the radial was open when I closed it, battle continued when I opened it, had to reload). Other than that and few skipped facial animations during conversations I haven't had too many problems. Though, any other mages out there disappointed in the lack of mage gear in the game (hope there's more in Awakening)? Best mage armor I've seen is Tevinter Mage Robe (bonuses on the very expensive Reaper's Robe seem more for a mage that gets hit a lot) and that you can buy as soon as you get to Denerim for 4g50s, and the best weapon is the Staff of the Magister Lord (which costs a whopping 129 gold, achievable but...I want to buy other stuff...). And the mage hats look...well, stupid imo (Nothing I hate more in a game than having a good/awesome piece of armor that I hate wearing because of the way it looks). One more thing, loving my Blood Healer (on normal still), Affliction Hex, Walking Bomb, Blood Wound, Chain Lightning... so-much-ownage (thing I'm still waiting for is the Blood Ring, and maybe also the Lifegiver to reduce the healing penalty, then I'm hoping self healing + using health for mana=unstoppable-neverending-manawell of destruction). Next character in line is my Human Reaver/Zerker w/ 2handed weps.
  22. Same here, get bored with it (or suddenly want to play other games) then suddenly I'll get the hankerin' to play some sacred 2 (there is always something to do on this game).
