  1. Hovering over 'sigma' symbol (like a funky square angled E or is it 3?) shows your list of mods... click twice for the second page. That tells among other things (mods) your +% damage versus each monster type and your bonus magic find from maybe SB or map? Now that's something I didn't know, always wondered how to get to those extra pages.
  2. With Enhanced Perception is it worth putting many points into this skill? I've only been boosting this skill with relics. Also the stuff you find on the ground when using this skill do you ever find anything of value, as I've only found junk. My Seraphim is at level 53 gold and since she hit level 50 the good drops have pretty much dried up, was finding quite a few set items/uniques around 40-45 level mark.
  3. I was thinking of a Dryad with these skills: 1. Ranged Weapons 2. Combat Reflexes 3. Tactics Lore 4. Enhanced Perception 5. Bargaining 6. Armor Lore 7. Damage Lore 8. Constitution 9. ? 10. ? Not sure what to take for the last two though. Maybe Spell resistance and Speed lore.
  4. I try to use LL weapons where possible, tends to make life easier when facing bosses. But a Dryad without AB buff is going to be a bit more difficult, especially if going with ranged weapons I guess. Also I don't think the Dryad can use Toughness which may make it easier in close combat.
  5. Can't say with the Shadow Warrior as I've not tried it, tend to stick with Seraphim, Dryad and High Elf. The biggest problem with not using CAs is the boses, a real problem and takes ages to kill them. Once I finished with my Seraphim I'll probably try a Dryad without CAs/Buffs, just to see how far I can get with her. Should be a bit of a challenge.
  6. The reason I thought about a build with no CAs is because I don't really use them much anyways. With my Seraphim I also only use Battle Stance and Pelting Strikes with Soul Hammer in a combo. I took EW focus and added one rune to each and get the rest by using equipment to boost them up.
  7. That should be OK... but without buffs... If you could spam health potions without penalty, I would like to see what could be done with the idea. I played a SW with buffs (NOT Veiled), not paying attention to other Combat Arts... the boss fights were the only issue (taking a long, long time to kill). Yes this is my concern with bosses, I've got a Seraphim on Gold just using Battle Stance buff and I really struggled around the swamp against all those undead.
  8. I see your point, not much fun if struggling to survive. Maybe revise the plan and add buffs.
  9. Well, I would hazard a guess that it is fun... up to the end of Gold difficulty. Ignoring the "spell system" leads to some very underpowered characters, IMO. Most of the mainstays here have had pony builds, maybe they'll consider it for the next round of Kamakaze? You don't think it would be possible to get past gold with no CAs/Buffs? I haven't tried yet but was thinking about trying a Dryad or Seraphim.
  10. Sorry haven't got that far yet, but it seems that character quest links are now broken since 2.65.
  11. Thanks for the link Chattius. Doesn't seem to be many players out there that don't use CAs/Buffs.
  12. Probably has, but just wondering has anyone done a build using just offensive/defensive skills, no buffs or CAs.
  13. It can't see it being a major problem, but the break is when you complete a part of the quest and then go onto the next major part of the quest that you get the breaks. Case in point with Seraphim quest I.e. The Hunt, The Hunt II, Children and Demons, Children and Demons II. There are broken links in all these parts of the quest.
  14. I haven't tried the Shadow Warrior, but luckly the Seraphim quests are largely around the main plot locations so eventually you tend to stumble on to them eventually. But I don't suppose that this glitch is going to get fixed anytime soon.
  15. Thanks colif, I'll check out the sticky. I tried the clicking in the quest book but it seems not to work, not with the Seraphim anyways, although my Dryad seems to be ok.
  16. I've also noticed that you now get tracking to npcs that have explanation marks above their heads, which is really annoying. I'm not to bothered about the Seraphim quests as I know the locations, but the Dragon Mage I'm running around like a headless chicken looking for the quest locations.
  17. I think this is a glitch with ice & Blood. It seems all those quest links are now broken, well they are for Seraphim and Dragon Mage. They worked fine for me until I installed Ice & Blood.
