I had great plans for this request. Plans for the background, colors, text, and everything else. Plans that would, from then on, let me make anything I wanted forevermore. It would have been the greatest signature and avatar set Gogo had ever asked me to do. There was just one flaw to those plans. One tiny, yet fatal flaw: I can't render pictures. So now after two and a half hours of messing around and wasting all my spare time after work, I came up with this. I put an extra lens flare on the X because it's a special letter. I also wanted to use that function correctly for once.

The 300 kb limit is a joke for static images of this size.

No need for such complicated methods of communication, just read the Kamikaze Sunday sticky. Everything's in there, except what exactly we do during the event. I can tell you that right now: We all gang up, roam across the world and do crazy stuff with bosses.

I used GIMP. It's an image editor like Photoshop, but a bit less advanced and free. I'm told it's one of the best free ones out there. It's easy to use after just a bit of experimentation. Try it. http://www.gimp.org/

I made a wallpaper. I had the urge to make one based on the set above, but I had no idea what to do, so I improvised and in just a few minutes I was pleased with what I had. I got the idea for the black parts from the wallpaper I was using before I made this one. I put my icons there.

I've had these renders for a long time, but I couldn't find a background style to match them with. I recently remembered a technique I had heard about long before I started making graphics: the pixel stretch. I had seen a piece with a pixel stretch background, and loved it. So today I decided to throw this set together. I hope you like it. I'm still not too good with text. I guess I should look up some tutorials. This piece was made with GIMP.
