  1. Once you get out of the low level areas things pick up, Each difficulty gives better modifiers on equipment and ramps up the enemy levels. If youre playing a maxed out barginner EVERYTHING will always be too easy. Go to free world/gold use the teleporter cave under the start island and you'll find a challenge in no time.
  2. This is almost identical to my current build, I just beat niob at level 110. I use two sets of weapons so I can have all damage types ready. Im all pelting strikes, with about 70 in battle stance/pelting strikes on my armor. With a little bit of regen per hit and the 100% physical damage mitigation from the forged EW runes/toughness, I'm pretty much unstoppable. Of course my level 140 Holy Protection with the 550armor Atamarks Star really, really helps. Make sure you mod battle stance with the reflect close combat and Pelting with Double hit/lower armor/lower def. Also 70%+ Opponent level for Deathblow on your gear. Speed lore can be switched out for Damage lore, Combat Discipline for Spell Resistance. Edit: (Roughly) 1) Enhanced Perception(75) 2) Swords(75) 3) Tactics Lore(75) 4) Dual Wield(200) 5) Exalted Warrior Focus(200) 6) Armor Lore(200) 7) Constitution(1) 8) Damage Lore(1) 9) Toughness(100) 10) Spell Resist(1)
  3. Yes, in free mode 98% of the quests/bosses are repeatable(if you log out/in), a few exceptions are, the Arena, Some Class quests, Xanthiar(SP?), Mist1 and Mist2. I just make a run at a few bosses/areas and then reboot and repeat. Personally I go, 1) Start Island to Four Guardian Temple, via underground 2) Banshee, from resussurection monolith 3) Boar, from kufferath Castle 4) Grunwald Cave Dragon(good mob packs on the way and a quest) 5) Swamp Dragon (Really Good packs on the way) 6) Facceleton(sp?) The Guardians, Dragons and Crystal Boss all drop the top teir stuff, Banshee and Boar for set peices. Some may not know this but if you start a new difficulty in free mode you can immediatly teleport directly to Sloeford, from there you can tele directly to the Port which leads to the guardians*, from there you can go to the start port on Dryad island and from there over to the Jungle port. Also you should be able to tele to Seraphim island port. The Dryad island teleporter under Start Island will take you right next to the Dryad City teleporter. *Particularly useful for forging, if your in Niob and can't actually kill stuff worth a damn, you can still get to the second best forge(level 134) at this location.
  4. I don't play a druid but Tangled Vines+E. Lances is the best combo Ive seen.
  5. So I'll assume you are shopping/socketing up? My favorite build so far, Unkillable Seraphim(naturally without a shopper you are quite killable) Tactics Lore Dual Wield or Ranged (1-hand ranged+shield) EW Focus RT Focus RT Lore Concentration Constitution Warding Energy Lore Armor Lore Toughness Divine Protection and Warding Energy are modded for max shield energy and less cost. Pelting Strikes, Flaring Nova and Archangel's Wrath are the primary attacks.
  6. FYI I think most or all of the above quests are one time only quests during campaign mode, better is to find quests which are near repeatable bosses or other experience areas for free mode. I'll get you started... Grunwald, head SW from teleporter to Dragon Cave, there is a quest right outside to kill three guys who are about a hundred feet away, nice emeny clusters on way to cave and finish off with the dragon. Right above Gar' Collossus there is a quest to kill 8 elementals which is a nice bonus before you go kill Gar.
  7. You guys sure made the challenge complicated, the challenge needs to be "NO Barganing."(and or trading) and this includes of course benefiting from other players/toons shopping. From a die hard shopper I gotta say '+all skills' ruins this game. I'm starting today, we'll see how it goes.
  8. Bad news for Arkenmark, found a permanent root glitch similar to the freeze glitch at the Orc Cave, happened twice and I had to go to the dash board to unstick myself. Was scary there when I reloaded and still couldnt move or interact with the player chest. Also the slow loading problem was apparently due to memory issues, I had been playing for tlike 8 hours, if I load in a fresh game it loads quickly while zoning.
  9. The build isnt specific to the location except the banish%, Im aware that I would get different results with a different setup, which is why I mentioned that in the first place.
  10. Ok I tested Arkenmark's Refuge vs Orcs, Level 51 DW Seraphim/Gold +70% experience 125 All skills The load times were wonky, on two test runs it loaded very quick, on the other two it was slow like +5 seconds vs. orc cave load. Also I killed an inconsistant number in Arkenmark, usually leaving 1-4 of the monsters in the first two rooms. No Bugs Orc cave, I had a 1390 experience/sec, 15sec/run(approx) Arkenmark, Slow load, 25sec/run 1520 experience/sec Arkenmark, fast load, 20sec/run 1732 experience/sec (I think it gets better once the outside creatures sort of glitch and stop loading en mass.) Keep in mind I have a build for this spot, my elf would have reversed results. I had 4sec/hit regen, 40%banish and anti-undead cleansing brilliance. I did Nova/P-strikes/P-strikes and it pretty much clears the place, 3champ zombies/1 champ rat and about 12 other normal zombies/rats. Obviously it has weaker weapon/money loot, though the set peices seem to be a bit easier to get. Don't know about higher levels, but it's working well for me below level 100(76 now)
  11. Good news then, if you can't run past the undead, then you wont be able to farm there anyway!
  12. It takes two minutes to walk there, then you activate the port and you have permanent access. Not exactly a chore.
  13. Ive found that if you have the right build the tomb at Arkenmark's Refuge can compete with the Orc cave for experience, my high elf couldnt get it done fast enough, however my Flaring Nova/Pelting Strikes Seraphim owns that place, 15 kills in 10 seconds or so... Takes a bit longer to load in/out, but you need to empty the inventory a bit less, also no jerks outside to ZoneFreeze you.
  14. So I thought I'd be clever and try to scam the game by reloading aftert my 4* class quest trying to get a different/better item, it auto-saved the quest and erased the loot it gave me. Man I so deserved that. Once I got Faldail's Eye in three consecutive containers, that was lame.
  15. It's very very easy to do, just run in a circle, hell you can run right through the pack of them, the orcs really need you to be still to do much damage.
