  1. Added: Sacred:Explosive_Arrow/de Sacred:Eye_for_an_Eye/de Sacred:Hard_Hit/Wood_Elf/de (Naming problem, article should be changed) Sacred:Knockback_Arrow/de Sacred:Multiple_Shot/de Sacred:Penetrating_Arrow/de Sacred:Spider_Arrow/de
  2. The old translated stuff is from me. I had stopped because well, the Wiki was down. I also sent gogo a message months ago about a few pages not being able to be translated, due to the language addon being /de and some articles using a / already in their article name, such as Combat_Kick/Vampiress. If you add a /de, then the engine will take "/Vampiress/de" as language code Tbd: all articles with a / in it need to be changed to something without. To the German translators. I'm working with Across PE (not the best CAT tool, but it's free). If you need my database records, pm me and I'll do an export as soon as I get back home this weekend. P.S.: I took the freedom to make some minor changes to http://www.sacredwiki.org/index.php/Sacred:Character_Class/de P.P.S.: Dictionaries for translating are also dict.leo.org and proz.com. Most of the time it's just starting the game and checking the name, though That's also the reason why I made my own Sacred dictionary for translating. Makes work much faster.
  3. Cool thanks and what does the CA say once you have switched to the form? Does it say Charged Bolt or something else?
  4. I also have another question / request. Could someone open the "Sacred terms translated" article from Underworld and check, whether the English terms are correct or not? I'd also like to know the exact ability names of the Daemon and the Vampiress in their different forms. I'm asking, because I just noticed something weird in German. The Daemon ability "Energy Daemon (Charged Bolts)" is called "Energiedämon (Energieblitze)" in German, but when you switch to that form, the ability name becomes "Kugelblitze" and not "Energieblitze", as it should normally. While I can check all this in German, I can't in English, so I'd need someone to do it for me in English. Oh and while we're at it. Is the English name "Energy Daemon (Charged Bolts)" or "Energy Daemon / Charged Bolts"?
  5. Just to add my 2 cents. There was a localization bug with the old Wiki software, as mentioned in my last wiki post. If you work with /language again, then you'll need to take care that no single article has a slash in the name. Good news are also, that all French parts I've done are well stored in my translation memory, so if the English texts don't change, translation of the same articles will only take a few minutes for the import/export and upload.
  6. There also seems to be a problem with the page Sacred:Combat_Kick/Vampiress I think it is due to the /Vampiress that this page cannot be translated into other languages correctly. The page /de exists, but the original page doesn't link to the German one, only the German links to the English original. The page Sacred:Combat_Kick already exists, so it might be good to transfer the old article to that new one and manually edit the few links that point to the /Vampiress page.
  7. Thanks gogo for doing the transfer. I've cleaned up the whole Vampire article in English before translating, because there were a few mistakes and inconsistencies. Hehe and then I found a pretty good way to translate all the pages, which might be interesting for all other translators. I've saved the source code of every article I want to translate in a Word document and imported that into the translation memory Across, which is freely available after registering on their site. This means terms and descriptions should be consistent through all articles. It also makes translating much easier, because repeating components get translated automatically.
  8. I'm also working on a lot of German Vampire pages at the moment, so if there's some English in German pages, that's normal, because I don't have time to do everything at the same time and with all the cross-references that also need a German translation, it's a damn lot of work ^^ (thanks OneNote to keep track of what needs to be done and re-edited)
  9. I'll do that asap and let you know Thanks a lot =)
  10. Well of course I don't want to cause too much havoc, but I just think that the names are very clumsy and if you use the links inside a wiki article, one line suddenly becomes like 2-3 lines and it's very hard to keep the overview =) The good part is, that the pages in question don't have a lot of information, yet, and I don't think losing the old contributions would be too bad
  11. I've just translated the page about the Vampiress to German and I saw that the CA wiki entries for her are pretty clumsy. Is there a way to get a list of all the wiki pages that link to a certain page and then simply to rename the pages? For instance change "Bats:Confusion(Vampire form only)" to "Bats: Confusion". EDIT: I'm asking because I know that the SharePoint wiki has such a feature, where you can simply rename the file and all links are automatically changed.
  12. http://www.sacredwiki.org/index.php5/Sacred:Attributes/de now exists. Due to limited time, I've decided to make a step-by-step translation, instead of uploading a huge package.
  13. Done for most, the others need a bit of preformating Thanks a lot =) For this to work I will need to do a lot of pretranslation, though, because otherwise there will be a totally empty German wiki and that's just bad
  14. After putting in and correcting (Why were some terms right and some wrong?) the German terms for Combat Arts, I've also done a little design change. I have started to change the style from list to table, because I think it's easier to compare like this. Before I continue, however, I'd like some feedback. If you think it looks good, I'll finish the work, else I will revert to the previous version =) Talking about German translations: Is there a possibility to translate entire pages to have a German version?
