  1. when we think back at the beginning of sacred, when every char had 3 or later 6 sets and the amount of uniques was also (very) small, compared to what we have now with the CM Patch (+Items mod), the weighted modifier of the legendaries didnt have to "compete" against so many other items. so limiting them to special droplists wasnt a bug, I think.

Now that we have all this stuff, adding them to other droplists should be fine. as long as they only drop from bosses. otherwise they lose their value.

a little bit off topic: the droprates of the mutation sets where increased with the last CM patch, right? I did only find 2 or 3 before the patch and was VERY happy when I got them.

Now I got a few in just a few days. In my opinion their droprates became too high. Its not so "special" anymore to find one. And I dont want the same to happen with legendaries.

  2. hey guys,

I am on the hunt for legendary drops now. my SW is level 154 and has 400+% MF equipped and another 80+% with EP at level 240.

I just wanted to bring the topic back up again. maybe I can get someone interested.

I play with CM Patch 150 and I am in the Sacred 2:Ice & Blood room in tunngle most of the time, even if I dont play. so feel free to add me there.

I already did 20 runs and was more or less lucky in the 3rd and 13th run: I already saw that promising orange color on the floor, but it was just an unlock item that dropped as "legendary" both times. so that doesnt count.^^

Edit: 31st run: the amulet of the kira-set dropped. had to check first, if that counts. aaaaand yes, its tier 15 :)

Edit 2: 13 runs after Kiras Iridescent Shard: a wild "grumas insignia of power" appeared :D

  3. I think the level of the enemies doesnt grow with your level in Bronze at all (like it does in the other difficulties).

This means, if u enter an area at level 20, the enemies will stay around 20 all the time. Even if u leave that area and come back later (for example at level 30 - enemies will still be at 20).

On the other difficulties the enemies grow with your level. If u leave an area at 20 and come back at 30, the enemies are at 30 as well.

This is just another mechanic that applies only in bronze and has nothing to do with level cap ( I guess). It could be tested if u start a new campaign on bronze with a higher level char

  4. Wow the item boni fit the names and descriptions perfectly. And they are so good for the Dryad.

I dont like the look of the helmet. Maybe the names and item modifiers of the helmet and shoulders could be exchanged and then the Dryad could get her own mane. Looks awesome in my imagination^^

  5. Just as I expected. The CA is transformed into an Area of Effect spell. So it either hits a single target, or is executed as Area of Effect spell and hits everything in range. But never both at the same time.

  6. Another awesome project. Nice!

I like the idea to get that elite mount later in the campaign. But it should still be very hard to get, because it has to be something special, something not every player has.

In order to achieve that, the quest should take around twice as long as the Unique Mounts quest.

Maybe you also have another solution for that, but I cant think of any right now.

  7. In my opinion DOT is damage that "sticks" to the target. The target gets hit one time but receives damage multiple times over time (that sounded weird xD).

The only confusing thing is, that the clearly non-DOT CAs are referred to as "pseudo DOT" here. We should just stop calling them like that.

Maybe there could be a camparison in the first lines of the DOT wiki site between DOT (true DOT) and Multi-Hit Damage (pseudo DOT).

Radiant Pillar and Raging Nimbus are clearly no DOTs. I dont think that beginners would mix that up, because these two spells dont "stick" to the target. They stay where they are (more or less) and damage everything in a certain radius multiple times.
