  1. I have a level 75 version of the sword(Silver or Gold difficulty) on one of my multiple "mule" characters. The main problems I see are two-fold. #1 - I don't know how to upload anything here since the instructions I was given don't work. #2 - Given the high level of the sword I'm not sure you'd be interested in it especially if it came from Silver difficulty.

  2. The latest CP adds in the Dragon Mage armor that gives %LL bonus.

Now as far as Shadow Warriors having a much easier time, that's due to armor having higher resistance values than the equivalent DM armor at the same level.

You could always take a look at my DM "Magic Staff" build idea and see if you can come up with either better skill ideas(like taking out Spell Resistance) or a better focus.

  3. Well, that was two years ago. Nowadays...

I believe the recommended skills can be Tactics, Armor, Dual Wield, Concentration, Death Warrior Focus, Constitution, and Spell Resistance. I've learned that Malevolent Champion Focus gets diminishing returns, so I can't really recommend that skill any more.

Now you have three skills left to pick. As belarathmth mentioned, you can't pick Enhanced Perception without another skill.
You have a number of good skills for qualification, but I got well into Platinum without seeing strong healing potions. If you mod your build specifically for life leech per attack, this may help some. I believe that Riding and Alchemy are two very good skill choices. I used to think Evade was a good choice for the third Grim Resilience mod. I think Safeguard is the better choice and you get some mitigation. If you have armor with damage mitigation, I'd go with Toughness to enhance it further.

  4. I enjoyed Tornado with my Dragon Mage Staff build. I suppose Elemental Magic Focus and Elemental Magic Lore would make it a decent choice. But you'll need ways of dealing with physical resistance to make it shine to its fullest potential along with Ancient Magic to reduce resistance.

  5. You should pick Combat Discipline and Ancient Magic to improve the Lost Fusion Combat Arts.

I used Vaclaf's Mechanix Omega-TX as a template. I did not go with all of the skill choices there.
My picks were: Tactics, Armor, LF Lore, LF Focus, DG Focus, Combat Disc, Combat Reflexes(to help the shield stay up), Warding Energy Lore, Ancient Magic, Damage Lore

  6. A lot of the skills in Sacred 2 need mastery to be effective. Spell Resistance and Enhanced Perception are two skills that are far better at mastery than the lower levels. For any characters that do have EP, I usually find a nice amulet or ring every few levels. Riding also reduces CA penalties when mounted. The Dryad can choose Ancient Magic instead of Combat Disc. You still get increased damage and reduced resistance to damage from your spell CAs
