heck I am 31 I know I am a youngster to some of ya but I will be a gamer for quite awhile it find it relaxing for the most part and a good activity to get my kids to sit and laugh and my stupidity at times lol

I know its been a long time since I have posted and came around but I do lurk from time to time. But I was wondering who all is planning on playing Guild Wars 2 I know Vampie and I have seriously talked about it and I know Lord and Gennut are going to play as well. I would seriously love to have an active clan Dark guild for Guild Wars 2. But I guess I will be lurking some more till it comes out and working on my last couple toons in Guild Wars going for maxed titles on both of them.

Hey everyone I know its been along time since I have posted here on FDM. But I wanted to stop by and say HI!!. Vampie got me Sacred 2 for my birthday today unfortunately its the us version. so it looks like I wont get to join in the fun on the servers with you guys. But I will finally get to play the game you guys are having so much fun with. Also a little update on life here. I have gone back to school again and changed my major. I am not studying to be a pharmacist and I have 3 yrs left of school hopefully if I don't take a break next semester. My eldest child is keeping us busy with her love of soccer And I have become "Soccer Dad" and Coach this year. Its been fun. Anyways I hope your guy's have had a wonderful year so far and I will try to post on the forum more and more. Cheers, EM

Well I Knew a few of you from before dark was formed. Gogo Llama and a few others. But ran back into Gogo on the SIF and eventually joined dark almost 2 yrs ago (wow has it been that long already)

Well after talking with my long time friend and gaming buddy Llama the other day and perusing the wiki (btw good job on the wiki all) I decided to try my hand at a Shadow warrior. I spent about a good 45 mins with Llama on Team speak talking about the build and any suggestions he might have with this. and came up with a few good idea's for how I want to approach this. now I turn to my close online family for their suggestions aswell. I know I want to go Dual Wielding on him for the flair that Sacred had with the Dark Elf, Seraphim or Gladiator had. Now I know that alot has changed skill wise and CA wise. and Llama suggested going a reflection type build. for this aswell. And I am thinking for my 1st toon I want to stray from any form of a Magic User and go a pure meele type build with a few buffs. (I know not typical of me but its a new game and a different animal). So any and all info you guys have will be helpfull. Rememeber I'm taking notes. And learning as best as I can with out the game. ( woot NEWB status gotta love it lol ) Cheers, EM

then that would be why most of the people playing are playing the EU/Uk version if I recall I haven't got the game as of yet waiting on my wife to give me the go ahead to buy it lol but maybe one of the fellowship or members will come along and answer this better than I can

What version do you have of the the game? if its the US version that maybe the reason. As the servers aren't combined like they were with sacred and sacred underworld. Ascaron has divided the servers up this time around instead of having 1 international area and 1 german.

It seems I meet all but 1 sys req I have a 1.8 GHz Athalon 64 x2 dual core processor. so I may be waiting till I get a new pc it looks like unless you think it can handle it

well I treid the demo again and its seems to be big time ram intensive and lags vampie's laptop is the full version the same or should I think about getting a new pc and holding off on Sacred 2. her laptop will run it but with some lag it seems. even with the settings turned all the way down

Well I guess its settled I'll end up getting the EU version. Sil I hope to see ya on the servers *HINT HINT* But as of right now we will be getting only 1 copy for the time being. Trying to save for a vacation to Montana so we can see my side of the family this year but at least we will have 1 copy where we both can play but taking turns lol. Oh well. Gotta do what ya gotta do. so hopefully in a couple weeks I will be back to killing baddies with ya guys Llama and Gogo.

Well Vampie and I were watching Schot's vid on farming last night and........... well started talking about getting Sacred 2 yeah I know I said I probably would not. But truth be told. For how its set up it looks like it is a Nicely done game and the demo probably put a bad taste in my mouth for it. So now the question is what version to get. We have the option to but it now and play the US version. "OR" I can wait the aggonizing time and order the EU version. But my question is. If I got the US version is there the option to play with you guys. Or are they still working on that. Anyways it maybe a couple weeks before I order it so we can pay a couple bills and in the meantime this will give me the time to sit and weigh out my options. about with version to get. Looking forward to the info you guys can offer and hope to be raising hell with ya guys again real soon. Cheers, EM
