Hi All Yes it did and all the patch updates were gone! I am tired... I think this game since it need a lot of patchwork can not be run on Steam. Is there a site I can purchase the game as a stand-alone?

Hi Admin I tried playing the game on Steam today but could not launch. I had to go to Steam and do that ‘verify integrity of game files’ Then it said 79 files could not be validated n will be downloaded again which it did. Will this undo what the new patch has done?

Hi Dimitri I just installed the Steam version of the game and also run the CM Patch 1.60. I checked the pak folder. I only have Graphics01 - Graphics19 and Graphics25. So I cant backup the original Graphics20 - Graphics24 file because its not there. Shall I just copy the new Graphics20 - Graphics24 file to the PAK folder? Is this correct? Thanks

Thanks a lot Andro. I m currently doing housekeeping for my SW to prepare for a new start with CM1.6. I have been reading on this forum the bugs reported after CM1.6. I just need to ask a few questions to the team before I go ahead with the update. I am running my Sacred 2 Gold I&B from Steam. Its the updated version. Based on what I have read on this forum I have to do the following 1. Uninstall Sacred 2 (and other files needs deleting?) 2. Install Sacred 2 and don't put it in the /Windows or any Sys related folder. Choose sumthing like C:/GAMES etc 3. Run Sacred 2 for the 1st time 4. Exit Sacred 2 5. Run Patch 6. Play n enjoy the game. Its roughly what I have gathered so far. Would be nice is the team can provide the steps based on the feedback and their experience. Thanks.

Thanks Andro Very helpful info indeed. I will be doing more reading on this forum before updating the CM patch. I am really grateful for all the work Flix and the team has put in to keep this game going even after many years. The "Shared Chest" is the character red chest that we find in town? Sorry I m not sure about this.

Hi Andro Oh well that really sucks. I happen to get a lot of sets items n uniques already as such a low level. Ok. I see that my old character will be bugged. Shucks. Also I heard that patch will improve the game camera settings to see wider n further. Is that true? Thanks Gamers

Hello to all the Gaming Experts out there. After many years away from Sacred 2 due the bugs n crashes I m finally back with it on Steam. Unfortunately the Steam version crashes or lags from time to time even though I bought a freaking expensive high spec gaming laptop. I am on 2.6.5.2 build 1837. I have been following this thread with excitement. Will this patch solve all my problems? My SW is now at Level 24. Been just playing a few days. Will I like lose my SW if I install the patch n have to start over again? I hope the experts here can advise me. Thank you very much for all the hard work to give us gamers a wonderful experience. I really want to finish this game. It’s on my bucket list. Please help and guide an old man. Hehe
