  1. Well I haven't really had the need to spam the spell. Usually the mobs are well dead by the time I really need it. And as long as my mitigation is high enough to not take hard damage my hitpiont regen is just slow enough to allow me to hold my damage in a relatively safe area. Granted I have not been able to test this fully against boss mobs yet. And I'm still on platinum. Just might be a differant story on noib.
  2. So what I've learned us that the Blood swords are much better.... But it's a tight rope act. What I've been doing is slowing myself to take damage to about 1/4 to1/2 damage then I hit my divine protection spell. This stops the damage for a time and aloes me enough time to lay waste to the group of mobs that are attacking. Just have to be watchful of the damage scrolling, when ya start taking damage again hit a health potion.
  3. I have two Orc Shocks and two Blood Swords of the Dryad. I duel wield them on my seraphim Qween of Blades build. Question is which weapon is better. Or should I mix them, one each. What would your choice be. I haven't really been able to see much of a differance. And how does the damage of enraged player really work?
  4. Update to my mentor drop woes. .... I play on the 360 and I found that if I'm on a dry spell for drops being mentor or set pieces I'll turn my console off and restarted it. I've found that when I do this the drops start filling my bags again. So far it's worked most every time.
  5. Has anyone heard if this will be addressed in October with the new patch/Blood&Ice? I've done the same thing made a awesome build no deaths and blacksmithing not working. At least let us get the cost reduction if nothing else.
  6. I play on the 360 and just finished moding my SV, it turned into a buff but still lasts only 20 seconds before I'm seen again. Although the buff still shows that it is active it's obvious that it's not as all mobs in the area see me. Good part is that I can recast at will compaired to when it was just a normal partially mixed. Not sure if this is a glitch or not. But itmis fun to sneak up behind a champion and surprise the crap out of them. I start beating them down and they have no chance to buff themselves before they are dead.
  7. Any ideas for the above edit? I took blacksmithing at 25. Thinking of doing constitution, toughness, then a weapons skill when I figure out what I want to be when I grow up. currently at 28th level now.
  8. I've started to do the same thing. I want a SW two handed, blacksmith. But strong to take all the way. What has started to turn out is an awesome build so far with all three aspects. I'm currently at lvl22. No deaths. My usual test mob on a new build is the kobold chief. I was able to take him out at level 7 and only drank 2 potions. This is the best I've done against him. Even my DW Sara Q of B had to wait till I was mid teens. I've been keeping take of attribute and skill point allocation for every level since about level 8. Looks like I'll be able to run him solo or co-op just changing a bit of tactics to fit. As I flesh him out I could post how and what I've chosen for skills if anyone is interested. I tries using the guide build program but can't get it to work or save so I'm writing it up on Microsoft spreadsheet. These are my current skills with hard points in them: 2 Death Warrior 10 3 Astral Lord 9 5 Concentration 10 8 Armor Lore 10 12 Combat Discipline 9 18 Malevolent Focus 14 25 ? At some point I want blacksmithing for sure... purpose for this build. I'm about to hit 25 and not sure yet on which skill to take. No deaths and the killing has been fairly easy. Quickly leveling up.
  9. Guess I'll have to be extra nice to my brother so he will keep feeding them to me.
  10. I've been playing for a few hundred hours combined now, and recently I have not been able to get any mentor potions to drop. Even when I play on coop with my brother he can pick up 50-75 of them to my 2. full health potions are running out of my ears but for every 75 health I might find 1 mentor. I've tried with different toons on both silver and gold level. Tried to have some in my bag thinking if you have some available some may drop. Even tried to use them thinking if their in use more may drop. Nothing. My brother can go into the Orc cave and get 2-3 every trip in all I get is health. Tried to hunt the kobolds thinking that's where I used to get them the most and still nothing. Had my first death on gold at level 55 with my seraphim DW and since then I've had this issue. Anyone out there help?
  11. How well is your HE doing on taking the damage? She have a strong chin? I have a Pyro He and have to really watch my health when I round up for a blood bath...or I should say BBQ. (Sweet Pyro Build to Kat). I think the only thing that's saving my butt is the shield I have. Stalworth Safeguard level 50 Attack speed -3.2% survival bonus increase rate +13.6% opponents chance to wound all types -16.3% defense value +21.1
  12. Wow that link really explains it. Thanks Che
  13. What does the survival bonus do really? I finished silver with zero death and a SB of 85%. Died at the Orc cave on gold and I'm down to zero SB. I know it will grow back but what does it do for you really?
  14. Well I figured we'll have my brother run a seraphim Queen of Blades..... I have one at level 50 now and she Rocks. And I'm going to run Putrescine's Hybrid Hunter Dryad. We are fast tracking through silver. Hitting only the seraphim class quests and the main line. Figured when we hit gold it'll be a better time to side quest, slow down and take a look around. Stopping now and then to do a side quest that I know has a good pay off. Picked us up a grown bear to fight with us. Not the one thats posted but there is another one that you deliver a fruit basket to cuz he's sick. When ya come out of the cave do not talk to the two guys outside the entrance. The bear will be yours. He never gets hurt and hes a good bloodhound for mobs when your in the mood to just pound some experience.
  15. I don't get off work till 11pm est. I'll look you up and see what we can do.
  16. I'm in the same boat Sarg. I got alot of dublicate set pieces. I'll take a look and see what I got. GT is Furian67. I find alot of set items from the Orc lands and the Orc cave.
  17. Thanks Ryan, looks to me that for the seraphim that using a mount may just not be worth it. The only benefit seems like not having to hit Dashing every 40 seconds. I enjoyed running the Lizard with my Dryad but not sure if the Tiger would be worth it.
  18. I have my brother running a Queen of Blades ( awesome build Antitrust) and since I have 2 bargainer builds we are going to drop the bargaining from his. I was wondering what skill to chose instead. Would riding skill be advisable? Or Concentration to bring the regen times down at higher level, and possible add a second buff? Or Spell Resistance?
  19. Love this build but I think I might have screwed it up. Must have been one or 4 too many 7&7's one night. Take a look and let me know if I messed up or if this will still survive on harder levels. I'm currently working through Silver and I'm at level 43 Just moving into seraphim Island. I'm left with 2 spots open to pick skills. Which ones can I do that are left of the original build? Toughness? Constitution? or Sword Weapon? Any feedback would be great. So far the only thing that has given me a hit of trouble were the little glowing sprite balls on Dryad island with their magic blast.

  21. Was looking at this program and it sounds great. But the link to it is bad. I tryed to locate it but I keep getting a 404 not found message. Anyone able to help?
  22. Thanks ch8ball, Yep were playing on silver. Bronze was way too boring when I first started so I told my brother to not even go there unless we are going to farm for something. I'll have to get into all the classes and see what spells and abilities each has that can work with or complement another in the group. I'm starting to remember more about my EverQuest playing and group dynamics the more I think about this and read. Just have to do some better research for now. Maybe we can mainline the quest to get through silver and get to gold. Thanks for the help and replies guys.
  23. True about the time to clean it out. When mine gets full it takes well over 1 to 1.5 hours to clean it out. Careful doing so. Make sure your awake! Very easy to sell off a unique or legendary items cuz you nodded off. ( I believe I've done this a few times).
  24. Thanks for the fast replies. Still looking for a tactics angle, not really worried about experience. I started a new toon so we could level together. I used to play EverQuest when it first came out. played that for about 3 years at 7-14 hours a day 7/364. Of course EverCrack is aptly named. But I remember that we had different classes that complementing the other. In Sacred what classes do this for co-oping.
  25. I've been playing this game in SP for some time now. Yesterday I bought the game for my brother so we can co-op. I have a level 40 Queen of Swords seraphim. I usually take on and kill in one shot at least 10 mobs with pelting. Question is how do you team up and do tactics with a friend if my toon can take them all out by herself. Do you run the board separately so you can cover more area for kills or do I need a weaker toon so we can play side by side and do quests and easterhunts together?
