This one is in fact for my friend, who wants to create his own RPG system... and I'm making illustrations of some characters that you can "meet" there. Heh, my 2nd work like that.
Anyway, this guy is a typical mercenary. If he can't find a job, he's a bandit.
One more thing - my friend has always very strict ideas what kind of armor, weapon etc should have the character that I've to draw and sometimes its quite boring to search how do something look like.
And as I twisted my right wrist a few days ago, can't draw anything. Although I can draw with my left hand as well, I discovered it two days ago, when I was in desperate to draw anything

Rss. I'm really sorry my words made you sad. However in my opinion they're rather more like tips how to do the next drawing better than a criticism. And mostly when someone comments my drawings, I don't think about those things like about criticism, but exactly like about tips. I don't know, maybe my posts here sound more nasty - or what - but it's rather caused of my level of speaking English than by my malice.
Also I'm a member of plenty sites like DeviantArt, just most of em is more focused on commenting and helping other artists to correct mistakes and make them draw better and focused on rating as well. And I post a lot of tips per day on each of em, like 20 - 30... sometimes even 40 per day, and each of those coments is long (mostly boring too), but the only thing that I want to do is to help other artists. Unfortunately most of those ppl seems to think about that like about really nasty criticism. But in fact it's NOT a criticism.
Notice that I've never posted here thing like "no, I totally don't like it, this drawing is just awful.", pheh, I don't mean I've never posted thing like that anywhere, but the drawing rly MUST be awful if even I write it, cause the fact is in every piece of art I try to find something well done, and even if I'm not able to, I still write many helpful tips. It should rather motivate you to draw more than to make you upset.
Of course if you don't want to, I won't write posts in your thread anymore, cause in my opinion writing only things like "oh yes, awesome, great, beautiful" doesn't help at all.

you have to use the link from the field next to the pic, other one doesnt work.
and consider your drawing, my 1st thought about it was "quite nice". no, I dont mean now I think "not nice". you need to do something with his arms, cause firstly I thought the arm with cigarette is his left arm. maybe more shading will correct it. oh, yes. shading. well this drawing seems a bit flat, and again shading would make it more "breathing".
except these points I have no other reservations.

hm well. from the waist and lower I like this drawing. unfortunately from waist to top of her head rather it doesnt look as nice as the rest. I mean the anatomy is a bit wrong here. too small head, too long neck and there's a part of her body that should be a lil bit lower...
oh but her legs... each of em is diffrent a bit than the 2nd one. left one is in fact too much longer than the right one.

This drawing took 2 hours yday. And the background took 1 - 1 and half hour. And when I wanted to take a photo of this drawing there was no way to take a photo without half drawing shining like... *cough*. So the photo is rly awful.
Anyway. Here you've got a high elf and something like a demon/troll/call it as you want.
For the background I used whole one and half of another 8B pencil

bweh. new films and old films are totally diffrent. though I like some new ones and some old ones. form the new ones I like LOTR. For example. And ofc Ringu (Japanese The Ring).
From old ones my favourite of all favourites is Nosferatu (made in 1922). Silent film with awesome atmosphere. Most incredible feeling is when you realise how old it is and that all those places are completely diffrent, all those people died long time ago, so it's like journey to a completety diffrent world.
Awesome.
And most of new films dont have that atmosphere. Something similiar has The Time Machine from 2002, but it's just not the same.
