A bit too much speculation and conjecture from the replies. Whatever will be will be. There is nothing any of the players, fans, and other folks can do to change the ultimate fate. If they survive, it will be because of their effort. If they fail, it's due to the same reason. I'm not puzzled on why Drakensang which also comes from Germany is doing so well. I think the wave of the future is pretty much smaller or indie studios making RPGs. Stardock is supposedly making an RPG title, and they're an example of a successful model.
