claudius 104
Questions: Do weapon skills (eg sword lore,,dual wield etc) affect Spectral Hand chance to hit? If no then does speed lore affect Skeletal Hand? Astral Combat Arts Skeletal Hand 1 Rallied Soul 2 Skeletal Fortifications 3 Malevolent Combat Arts 4 Augment Guidon Buffs: Nether Allegiance (at level 16 [31 mastery pts/2 categories so attainable at 16] perhaps modded skeletons and veil) Shadow Veil - permed (at concentration 1) Reflective Emanation (at concentration 75) Skills: 2 Astral Lord Lore (take to 5 pronto) 3 Armor 5 Astral Focus 8 Concentration (perma veil at level 9) 12 Ancient Magic 18 Blacksmithing 25 Dual Wield (if Skeletal Hand needs it + more sockets mods)....(could use Hafted or Sword + shield (sockets)) or Speed Lore 35 Constitution 50 Enhanced Perception 65 Malevelolent Champion (Mod Reflective Emanations/Guidon) Edited April 20, 2009 by claudius Link to comment
FrostElfGuard 9
Colour me confused again. Skeletal Fortification (the tower thing that shoots on its own) Spectral Hand (the "magic" CA that uses your in hand weapon for ranged damage) I use both with my Gollum (from LotR) SW. He hunts from the shadows, he does, precious. I haven't done much with Spectral Hand, I prefer SF and NA to do most of my damage. Edited April 21, 2009 by FrostElfGuard Link to comment
Dobri 55
The build that's posted will do well. Dual wield will allow to dual wield staffs, which won't be bad for a cloaked caster SW. You have only 1 tiny problem Dual wield is a 2nd tier skill for the SW. This means you can't take it just like that, and you have noting from the first tier to open it up. You should swap dual wield for something else OR replace another skill to get dual wield. If you swap it with death warrior focus, you'll be making a Party Buffer SW pretty much as the one I posted here: http://darkmatters.org/forums/index.php?sh...p;#entry6838027 There are few other good options... The best one, if you play cloaked, you can substitute DW for Combat discipline and give your CAs some more damage. Link to comment

Knuckles 904
Polearms are only 2-handed weapons and can't be dual wielded. Staffs can be either 1 or 2 handed Link to comment
