I know for the seraphim you get an awesome sword. So, yes.

The rewards vary based on class, and on level, but they're fun no matter what, and you get to know your character a little better, if you ask me.

I'd start them, if just for the fun of it.

Character storyline of the Inquisitor & Seraphim are very interesting if you ask me, not sure about the others...

Free legendary item for completing class quest, its almost always on your way of main quest, and if you don't like it, you can sell it, so yes, they're worth doing, I've only found one legendary item excluding the ones I got from class quests
