Ancient Magic

So I have been looking over ancient magic and I think I understand it, but I would like someone to explain how to know if your CA damage is weapon based or not. I know that Spectral Hand is for example, but is there a list somewhere that details the Combat Arts and the damage they pull from or produce?

a good place to start is to put the art in a slot then look at it (not in a combo but alone) in the F screen. Does it have attack and defense? Then it is a weapon art. Does it have spell intensity? Then it is a spell.
