Scything sweep knockback in pvp?

Hey folks! I am a new player and would like to make a PvP type of character. =) I was messing around with the DW and noticed that they are actually really effective with ranged weapons. So I guess my question would be this...

 

Does the knockback effect on scything sweep knock other players back, or only monsters?

 

If it does work on other players, I would think using a bow in PvP matches might really be an effective weapon to use. =) What do you folks think?

I know other detrimental effects work against other players so I would assume knockback should also work....maybe I can talk someone into trying this out later with me on HC

Oh, thanks! If you could do that, I would be eternally greatful. =) It would really suck for me to make a PvP character and put badly needed points towards knockback only to find out that I should have put it into damage instead. =P
