Recommended Posts

I am currently L120 SW and I was wondering where is best place for XP and good drops at this level? I am sol'ing niob easy at this point already on xbox360 using Stephane's Astral Malevolent build.

thanks

Well, in the orc cave you should be able to get a new level in about 1 hour. This is generally a good time limit for a level at that point. You should also be aware that the level requirements increase while the XP gained decreases (that's the way of the developers to make the game harder after level 100) and things will get harder and harder. To gain a level after level 175 usually takes over two and a half hours, so things will not get easier :) Only harder.

I am doing Orc cave with +75% XP gear, and +54% find valuables; is it good to have those on while levelling up? I also do niob boss runs and the sheik quest chain in desert for sick XP...but as far as sick (+skill) items for my L200 gear..does that stuff drop from niob bosses? or do I have to make a master bargain char thats niob if I want to deck out my L200+ gear? The thought of making a L120+ shopper is making me cringe since levelling now with my main at that level is a little monotonous.

can anyone answer these questions? ::

1. L120-L200 - places for solid XP

2. are you using +XP gear at that level while grinding?

3. is 50% find valuables high enough for legendary drops, at or approaching L200?

4. as far as; end game - Ultimate gear, do you need a char with high +% find valuables? or do you need a char with Enhanced Perception?

5. as far as; end game - Ultimate socketting; do you need a char thats master bargain in niob to get those items? or do they drop eventually with high +% find valuables...AND where does it drop? niob bosses?

1. I like to hunt in the Desert SW of the Khorum (watchout for the giant scorpions, they hit hard), or in the swamp SE of Lizurath, experience is good in both or the ORC Cave

2. I dropped to Plat and have +200 experience gear, I am level 128 and takes about 1-1.25 hrs per level at that rate, once I get constiution to mastery, I am moving back up to Niob for experience grinding

3. I have another set of gear with +102 find valuables and I am getting a legenadry drop 1 ever 2-3 hrs

4. Haven't gotten there yet so I cant answer

5. I have bargin mastery and in NIOB, I find all rings and ammys from merchants, I have 435 in bargin and find +all skills rings and +% valuables, you can get them hunting but its really a grid, better to have a shopper and teleport from town to town and get items from merchants, rune masters or blacksmiths
