ka243 3
Does the game check first if you sucessfully reflect or sucessfully block? If it checks for a sucessful block first, you might be decreasing your damage output by choosing shield lore if you have a high chance to reflect. What do you think about this? Link to comment
Zonc1 0
Reflection comes first, but reflected damage has been decreased in one of the previous patches, so it's not really a good source of damage anymore. Link to comment
Spunky 16
Unless you play with a SW with Reflective Emanation, then you can almost kill off bosses with the reflect. Link to comment
Zonc1 0
True only for bloodclaw since he has high dmg and low hp/armor. Try to kill nameless only with reflection. Link to comment
Spunky 16
Easy, just play a bronze game For real, with enough HP/regen from GR & Constitution and enough damage mitigation it would be quite possible to kill off most of the bosses in niob, as not many of them has high damage, except for the Nameless Guardians that can crit for over 40K. ka243 3
So... That means that if you have a high close combat reflect chance (from inc skin for example) shield lore is not very useful, is that right? I'm thinking about not taking shield lore on a high elf and putting in delphic lore instead to get more hp regen from GI. Link to comment
Zonc1 0
Why not have both and not worry about armor or other resistances? (in melee combat) Edited September 9, 2009 by Zonc1 Link to comment
