Glitched Quest

Hi there.

 

This has been puzzling me for a few days now but in my log book it says I have got the element of air, but on my map it shows the yellow book (quest to be completed) as the exit to the cave where all the ice giants are, just before you go up to the element of air and the big dragon. I've tried skipping past it and going down to the volcanic part of Ancaria but my character just says 'I shouldn't be here yet'.

 

Clearly there's something else to do in Icecreek Pass but there's nothing special about the exit to that cave. I've tried killing all of the Ice Giants in the cave to see if that does anything, but it doesnt. If I already have the element of air, what else does it want me to do?

Hi and welcome

 

I know that part of the quest bugs outs for a lot of people...IIRC the yellow marker points you in the wrong direction so you think there is still something left to do there...I have to dig around a bit but I should be able to find the info you need to continue the quest

Buut do you know how long it will take you to find this out? It's just I'm really eager to get playing again and I can't do anything until I've completed this quest so it's a bit of a bummer really :/

I've got the element of air in my log book, and in my quest log it says I've already got it too. still need all the other elements, fire, water and earth I think.

 

I just don't know why it won't let me continue my game and it keeps pointing me in the direction of the cave. maybe there's something I nthe cave that I need to retrieve. my friend who also plays sacred told me to go into the library and see if there's anything there, but if I go into the library, the pointer keeps telling me that my goal is the entrance to the library. if im standing outside it points me to the entrance. if im in the library it points me to the entrance I just came from...

 

please help me this is sooo confusing :L

By the way, I haven't fought the dragon yet, does that have anything to do with it?

 

and if it does, why does the pointer point me in a direction AWAY from the dragon? :S

That is the main page from Wolfe's Lair and has the walkthrough for the quests...give a look thru that. I hope it will be able to help you out. I do know if you get the Elements out of order the yellow quest marker will go bonkers. All you need to do is click on the quests under All Ancarian Campaign Quests (Acts I, II III and IV) and you should have all the directions/steps needed to get the other ones
