Some Simple Inquisitor Questions

Ok...these may seem like newbie questions considering I posted a guide on how to build an Inquisitor but just consider this not to be that & think of it as inquiry for my guide...and thanks for any future posts guys! Well...here's my questions...

1) Has the bug for the Ilgard's Set for the final set bonus been fixed on the Console version of the game? In other words...does the chance to inflict serious open wounds effect for the final set bonus still effect you negatively or what?

2) This is the real noob question...maybe...oh well, here it goes, which mod is better for reverse polarity buff for the gold slot...I guess my real question is...is Evade worth taking cus I've tried it & wasn't impressed?! My experience with it was it only gave me like a 20 point Def. Value bonus but now I have a +15 all combat arts bonus from a high level Lord Wayne's Wild Rage socketed into 1 piece of my armor...I guess what I'm getting at is will this help that mod out in giving me a higher def. value bonus cus of the combat art bonus or what?

3) Anwser this one after you've answered the 2nd one cus this pertains to the Astute Supremacy Aspect as well...which combat art should I mod 1st...so I've got 3 mod points & I want to finish modding Clustering Maelstrom regardless which will only take 1 point...by the way if this helps I've already fully modded The Doppelganger & put 2 into Clustering & 2 into Reverse Polarity so my choices at the end are do I want to either finish reverse polarity depending on your guy's advice or do I want to get 2 mods in raving thrust to better my Area Attack of Clustering Maelstrom, Levin Array, Raving Thrust?!?! Keep in mind though that the attack will already be slightly better with the mod that I put in Clustering! Sorry this is so long but like I said they are fairly easy questions!

4) I guess if it won't affect me too badly...can somebody on xbox live hook me up with Ilgard's Visions (shoulders), Level 45-75 (cus that's the level where the rest of my set pieces are at)?

Closing) All this help would be greatly appreciated guys so as I close all of my statements...look forward to hearin' from you guys and thanks once again from the not so newbie Shun guy!

Here goes!

1. No

2. It does not give you evade, it gives you defense. If your defense is high enough, enemies can't hit you. THe other choice works very well, BUT if you play with others you will be handing off damage to them, and THAT is not right. Could get them killed, fact.

3. If you already have Combat Discipline, you might want to mod Ravaging Thrust (bronze and silver mod only) - the only worthwhile mod on Levin array is the final mod, so I would mod this Combat Art last, if at all - still works great with zero mods.

4. can't help you there, I sell all my lower level set pieces, as your chest has a limited amount of room

Hey thanks for the response...I was beginning to think no one would! Sorta sux that they didn't patch that problem with the inquisitor's Ilgard's Set...anyway as for what you wrote about the Astute Supremacy stuff...thanks fo the advice on Reverse Polarity & I know it doesn't give you "Evade" but that's the name of the mod! As for handing off damage to my teammates...think about it this way...I'm the "Master 'Smith" of the guys I play with...I have a 175 bargaining/Viperish Disease dryad so they're pretty safe with the armor I can socket for them...now as for noobs who don't have stuff like that (which I tend to help, not play with very much), they might pretty well get ticked off if I were to "play & not help"! Now as for the info you wrote about my combo genuinely helpful & thanks alot and the order you said to mod them in and which mods to take I sorta had that thought out after posting that so I sorta feel stupid! Anyway, one more thing...as I said in my 1st post...this is to help my guide and also to give me an Idea as to where to take my inquisitor for the next step cus rite now he's level 68 and he's not really my 1st inquisitor like this...he's my 2nd cus my 1st one I took to 86 and realized I made alot of mistakes! Anyway as I said...thanks alot for the response and I might consider adding you as a friend!

No problem man, just helping out a fellow Inquisitor.

PS: I took the handing of of damage one too. Have not regretted it (level 102).

Hey, Inquisitors!

If you take that gold mod on Reverse Polarity.png Reverse Polarity that mitigates damage to your companions......

The wiki is wrong about being limited to 5 escorts (for console version), so I think I remember having as many as 8 or 10 dudes following me around! Getting "invincible" escorts is a little trickier, but I know where 5 can be found! Give me a minuite and I'll link the wiki to the quest.

Hrm.. can't find the quest in the wiki... maybe someone can help with the name of the quest, 'cause I forget 8(

The quest that starts "automatically" when you are travelling from Skook's Corner to Atamark's Gate, I think is is on the road or very close to it. It is a lengthy chain-quest to help some guys battle against the Dark cult, and ends with the baron (maybe his court-mage?) turning into a demon, which you kill to end the quest chain.

Anyway, at one point in the chain-quest, you get some helper dudes, and on console version, they never take any damage, so I thought that they would be perfect for that RP mod! 25%(minimum) free damage mitigation? At Combat Art level 50, this would equal 50% damage mitigation!

It does start automatically, but only if you are exploring OFF the path. There is a dude that is being harrassed by those fire acolyte/idiots ("For Kuan!"). Once you kill the guys harrasing the NPC he gives you another chain in the quest. I TOTALLY forgot about that...but I'm sure going to use that in Niob campaign mode, where life is challenging and death is omni present

;-D

Those are the only ones I am sure are completely invincible. I haven't taken the bear from the tutorial relics for a run with this, so maybe you can have another one when you go Niob!

I thought the quest was onthe road, but I guess I was wrong! Thx for the clarification!

what's the deal with the sig file?

did you really kill terus 100 times?

Hehehe... just saw this re-visiting some old Inqui threads... sorry for late reply but it's a funny one.

I killed Terus to the POWER of 100 times. 5 difficulty levels... you do the math.

Nah, I'm joking. That sig I was keeping track of the level I killed the Niob mini-bosses at with the build (Trystesta dryad).

I guess if I was machoist, I could've killed Terus that many times, but I don't like the Boneslicer so I generally skip him.
