Furian67 15
Assuming the following build, which one would it be best to choose? Armor Lore Tactics Lore Malevolent Champion Focus Concentration Pole Arms Toughness Death Warrior Focus Constitution Combat Discipline *free* Buffs: Reflective Emanation, Grim Resilience My personal opinion is....... 2) Armor Lore- good keep at level this will really help with regen times from the heavy armor, 3) Tactics Lore - keep at level mod points to both Death Warrior and Champion aspects, CA execution speed also 5) Malevolent Champion Focus - Initially take to 21 points. Use a buff suit to enhance the Reflective emanation so you only eat one rune till near level 65-75 8) Concentration- of course. unless you plan to use the Astral aspect Shadow Veil or Nether Allegiance you can leave this at level 1 12) Pole Arm - heavy hitting weapon, has Life Leech %, is a slow weapon so I would say pump points into this for your attack speed. 18) Toughness - In my opinion this isn't really needed IF you mod Grim Resilience properly ** Rejuvenation - Increases the hit point regeneration rate. (2hp/s + 2hp/s per CA level) **Readiness - Adds a defense value rendering the Shadow Warrior harder to hit. (10 + 5 per CA level increase) *** Reflex - Increases the chance to evade attacks. (20% + 0.2% per CA level increase) *** Safeguard - Significantly increases physical resistance. (5% + 0.3% per CA level damping) Both Reflex and Safeguard are good, I have usually used Reflex, but after reading a post from r00ster Safeguard give an all channel boost to armor and can very well replace toughness. I am currently using this on my new Shadow Warrior. So far so good. 25) Death Warrior Focus - do the same with this as Malevolent Champion Focus, I can't stress enough how much better my Toons are by using Buff Suits. 35) Constitution - Nothing wrong with this, I personally haven't needed it in a long time, the mod on GR rejuvenation will almost put this pick to being obsolete, 50) Combat Discipline - nice, helps with the 10% reduction in regens. and adds damage. Lets me cast 3 of the mini buffs at once 65) Free Long story short...... for me I would drop Toughness and Constitution, I would do Combat Reflex, Damage Lore and Spell Resistance, get spell resistance as soon as you can and mastery before you head into platinum. At mastery with Armor mastery, and the bonus to will power from GR I can 90% of the time ignore the LL% Eye Balls in the Blood forest. and the Demons with the bugged Lightning Zap are ignore 4-5 Zaps, when I do take one it is easily manageable, If you haven't read my build Ultimate Warrior yet get a look at it. Swap sword lore for Pole Arm if that's what you like and run with it. Edited August 21, 2010 by Furian67 Link to comment
Spunky 16
Hmm, GR's Safeguard dont give you all channel protection, it only gives you a boost in Physical Mitigation, so Toughness is still a must have if yer fancy massive all around mitigation. Link to comment
Furian67 15
Your right. How did I screw that up? Now I gotta think about what I was thinking about. Link to comment

For me it was an "ah, of course!" moment gogo Link to comment
