Fire damage mod on items.

Hi there.

 

I found a Thodran Amfist's cap of ferocity. One of the mods on it is 25% fire damage. My question is :-

 

Does that add 25% to all fire damage, including Combat Arts like Flame Thrower, or just to weapons that already do fire damage ?

 

It's just that I have bought a new cap that has high rsm and can't decide whether to swap the use of them. I am using FT as my main attack, so if that mod does count then I will carry on with the Thodran cap, else I will swap as the rsm on the new cap is fantastic.

Yep, this bonus applies to all fire dmg. I replaced widd ammies socketed in the gear on my fire battlemage with rings from aarnum's set: +220% damage fire boosted fireball's dmg by somewhat around 6-7k.

I'll have to choose between lots of rsm and higher damage................my head hurts, lol !
