Your preferred lan party characters?

Since we have the 3 kids of a friend for 3 month at house the above question arose. Which class combinations would you choose to introduce the game to a newbie in a lan party?

We did a serafim to help a newbie shadow warrior. She did all 3 trees but not the tree lores to reduce her damage to allow the newbie to do most of the kills.

Honestly if I would have seen this character 4 years ago I would have said redo it. But the serafim does well, even with her limited damage.
