The sword was forged by Conan's father at the beginning of the story and which was used to defeat his main enemy at the end. The stats were inspired by the scene when Conan uses this sword to avenge his parents' murder, despite his enemy's attempt to mesmerise him. Flix 5,116 Posted February 22, 2016 Author Share Posted February 22, 2016 Haha oops...added a warning. Yeah, the way they did that scene, so stark and brutal. Haven't seen the 2011 remake (didn't even know there was one) but I'd bet with modern "action-movie" aesthetics they wouldn't be able to nail a lot of scenes like they did in the original. I'm actually more a fan of the original stories by Robert E. Howard. Kind of one-dimensional as a hero, but then the emphasis is really on being the ultimate "manly" badass. Link to comment
