Popular Post DaveO 88
I found a program that converts the Sacred 2 music from .OGG to .MP3 format. I was thinking of offering this to the community, but I wanted opinions on whether I need to contact Studio Two or Deep Silver to ask for permission to publish first. While the GoG version does come with a soundtrack, it does not cover all 127 tracks I extracted from the Music HQ folders. 2 Link to comment
Popular Post Flix 5,116
Easiest thing to do is just install ogg vorbis plugin on your system. This will let audio applications like Windows Media Player play the audio without any need for conversion. Even better is a program like VLC Media which will play ogg files natively without any need for the codec. If a user absolutely needed them in mp3 format, for example to add to iTunes or something, I would use dbpoweramp music converter for batch conversion. 2 Link to comment
Dorimil 224
or have bought the limited edition with an additional soundtrack cd! 1 Link to comment
Flix 5,116
You could, but the official soundtrack is limited. It only has the daytime music (no night music), and the various day music tracks are condensed into "suites" for each region. The fight music is missing too. I'd say less than half the music in the game is on the official soundtrack. 1 Link to comment
