Question about the lost diaries

Hello all
The quest "Ancient Secrets" (lost diaries) was integrated in 2011 with CPatch version v0110. At that time the 4 books had no content... were called book 1, book 2 etc.
Then in 2018 with CP v0160 the texts were added.
My question: Where did you get the historical content?
