I love projection but my wife is not. I wanted to get it instead of hd-tv but "boss" denied my proposal. I end up with hd-tv. Still is on my dream list.

They're impressive.

But I'd still never get one.

 

I mean...think about it. The content is being transmitted through air, notoriously bad for any sort of visual transmission, to a screen...

why not just buy a lcd screen or plasma in the first place then then use a cable to send the image to it?

No losses to smokey, hazy filled atmosphere, right?
