gogoblender 3,071
Hey guys, my new comps a 64 bit, and I was able to get the Vista 64 OEM with it. Believe it or not, I actually like it. I followed my it friends advice at work, who said that Vista is a memory hog and went to town and stuck in 4 gigs of Ram. Well, the system is fast, pretty stable, and I'm slowly getting used to it. For gaming, I've been able to run everything on it so far, and I'm even able to get Crysis running a a level that's only available for Vista users...smoothly too. I am having challenges with browsing via 64 bit though, and I'm using FF Minefield...uber fast browsing, but it seems flash isn't compatible yet with 64 bit systems So..I keep a version of explorer close at hand to be able to run media intensive sites. I'm just wondering if anyone here has some tips for me, as I'm a newbie with 64, and any advice would be helpful. thanks gogo Link to comment
