Hi fellow darkmatterians :thumbsup:

It's been a while since I posted here, but I've been busy and stuff. and because I don't play sacred (haven't in a while) I don't check here as often as I could. I checked most topics though, but been kinda inactive.

Another reason is because I am part of the moderator team of the reactorforge.com community.

It's a pretty new site, and hardly any members at the moment. But how much ppl can you expect in 2 days huh :D

our first post shows the people what the site will be all about:

Welcome to the new Reactorforge.

Currently the site is still under development which will continue for most of the summer, however the site is live and up and running there should not be any downtime associated with the development work.

We are taking request's for what people would like to be able to do and see on the site, this is a massive project of ours we hope to be able to do everything that people request. Some of the main features will be,

* Game Server Monitor Section

* Voice Server Monitor Section

* Player Stats Section

* Mass Downloads

* Mass Videos

We hope at some point to offer out free web hosting / voice servers to the public with mysql database's and all the other good stuff. However currently working out some licenseing problems with various vendors of voip programs.

Another thing we have been thinking about is the art of coding we will be having a forge section of the web site which will be open to the public for all and any resources, There will be certain sections of the fourms guided for help with custom coding and mod making etc...

Please remember that this community needs the public to grow, any help that you can give us is muchly appreciated please post in the forums if you have any questions.

Thanks

Reactorforge Staff

So if any of you feel like helping to start up a gaming/pc-in-general community, feel free to hop in at the site. Forums are up (but still just about empty, it's only been up for 2 days).

feel like writing tutorials about programming? about graphics software, how to make signatures and the likes... RF.com will be the place 2 B !

If all goes well, a forum part (and perhaps new section ?) will be created especially for people like therionX.

He used to do pictures using his computer and such, and we are working on making a section for that.

So I hope I don't upset any people, or break any forum rules by posting this here. But as part of the moderator team, it's part of my responsibility to make sure people get to know RF.com.

Like I said, it's pretty calm right now, and little news on the site. But just check every once in a while, and it will be a monstersite before you know ;)

Grtz, prom ... or pOrn, as they used to call my gladiator :)

Prom, welcome back! And great seeing that you're keeping busy with a great new game. I'm taken up with the ramping up for Sacred 2 here...lol, and my time's getting SO sucked up with Requiem.

I'm hoping that you get your community, in my past experience it's been that if the peeps are good, the game takes a big part from that. Keep at it, it took us a while to get DarkMatters up to speed, just under a year if I remember. But with persistance, I'm sure you'll have some fun.

Good luck

yes, I was planning on taking on Sacred2 aswell.

But with my Trackmania clan (which is doing extremely well on the ESL ladder, for our team) and the upcomming Starcraft 2 + Diablo 3 I decided to leave Sacred 2 on the shelves for a while.

however, just to clear things out, Reactorforge.com is a site that involves in programming, games, graphic design, hardware and pretty much everything regarding your computer.

It is not exactly a community like this one, focussing on 1 specific game.

on a sidenote: are there any D.a.r.k Starcraft2 planns ? I am interested. Perhaps a forum could be hosted on reactorforge.com, if not just here ;-)

Grtz, prom
