I think that was changed slightly in the last patch, I think it's now the following:

 

Bronze = smith arts & runes

Silver = Bronze + rings

Gold = Silver + amulets

...okay I've turned it into a How To Socketing Guide with definitions , and Brad also found all the slots he could find to validate the info ^^

... also took some 1600 x 1200 pics with all the bells and whistles of 4x AA ^^
