Indy13 5
Just making this thread to show that going turtle is a bad idea in OGame... Enjoy the threads, uhm, sort of... RIPs vs. Defence http://board.ogame.org/thread.php?threadid...lightuser=11355 http://board.ogame.org/thread.php?threadid...lightuser=11355 http://board.ogame.org/thread.php?threadid...lightuser=11355 IPMs vs. Defence http://board.ogame.org/thread.php?threadid...lightuser=11355 http://board.ogame.org/thread.php?threadid...lightuser=11355 http://board.ogame.org/thread.php?threadid...lightuser=11355 http://board.ogame.org/thread.php?threadid...lightuser=11355 For those of you who don't know, Candlemass/Graf Zahl is the strongest .org player with about 4.6 million points. He plays in universe 6 where he has more than twice the amount of points of anyone else. He has dominated uni 6 from day one and is known for being the first player to reach 1000, 2000 and 3000 destroyers. His tactics differ from the ones of other .org player for one reason: he is german, thus he uses .de tactics. Other defining facts about him are: he likes big profits with small loses and he would do anything to kill a turtle. Link to comment

Guest gogoblender
heh, tirt;es aren't necessarily bad, hk And not everyone has the time to work with fleet. It's just that when yer against an absolute force like CandleMass who puts so much effort into taking out turtles... Absolute force then destroys absolutley immovable object. nice post indy This is my favorite post of your choices that you posted about Candlemass: http://board.ogame.org/thread.php?threadid...lightuser=11355 That post alone must have taken him a while Tutles do have their place though and fleetsaving certainly does make turtles less profitable. If turtles yearn to make themselves less profitable/less of a target by fleetsaving and having a hugely obscene number of abm, then most attacks from tuff dudes can be bypassed. Course...when someone really wants to take out a turtle...the turtle being a representation of time invested that is perhaps less than a fleeter...he would probably lose out. I say could...because I don't think I've ever seen a super turtle that has looked at Candle's atttacks and taken the challenge to produce a defensive strategy that could hold him off. gogo Link to comment
