doddsy 0
What the FECAL MATTER! is this? I get over 1k xp less per kill for being in a party than I do playing solo. Why would they do such a thing?! Kind of discourages the multiplayer aspect for me, the only other attraction for playing in a party is to kill bosses. I just can not bring myself to lose 1k xp per kill for the sake of playing with a friend Link to comment
FrostElfGuard 9
Your kill speed increases faster than the decrease for sharing a kill... so if you party and play together you will very very quickly go up in xp. They had to build a reduction in to prevent super power leveling. Link to comment
Llama8 8
The reduction is also only applied if you're within 1-2 screens of each other. If you're outside this range you get the full XP but your killing speed is reduced (since you won't get the benefit from your friend's kills). It should net off though, since you would be getting two lots of 1/2 the XP. Link to comment
Knuckles 904
I read somewhere that you get a bonus to experience if you're partied but fighting solo. It's somewhere on SIF. Guess I'll hunt it down found it....nice thread by Xenonic MP Party experience Edited April 7, 2009 by Knuckles Link to comment
