  1. hahha, those are great... Apparently ( I think it was Knuckles?) got a Wonderbabe out of it ? gogo
  2. I love meat Borg, it's just that the really good stuff is so pricey. I'm still astounded by how cheap the links were... definitely the best value per gram of meat that I've found here in Montreal. I guess it comes down to a kind of method that cooks the sausages with the insides thoroughly done, and then trying to find a way to crisp/brownify the outside. I sort of like that way I accidentally happened upon, whereby which I used a sauce pan with some water in it, then all th sausages inside, then I covered and put it at a VERY low heat...sort of like a combination boil/steam thing going on...best part about it is...I get a great amount of liquid/ residue after I pull the cooked sausages out... Sausage soup anyone? gogo
  3. Hi everyone after a two year stint with one of the internet's top hosters, IPB, we have finally decided to switch hosting to something more in line with our needs. IPB has always offered us superb ticket support and help with hosting, software and growth, and for that period of our growth, the fit was perfect. Now though, a few years later, as the community has multiplied more than ten fold, and we have a wiki, our needs have multiplied with the growth, and we were looking for much more hard drive space, and possibly more bandwidth to fit all of you guys on We tried to trade in the amount of excellent didactic support we were receiving and hoping to see it transformed into resources. We've decided to go with Booyahhosting: https://www.booyahhosting.com/shared.html Booyah was first suggested to us Susan, a friend of ours from a webmaster forum and who runs a few sites of her own. She described Fernis's (the owner of Booyahhosting) support as being topnotch, friendly, and very accommodating. In fact last night as we worked with him to begin the arduous process of bringing the sites over to his hosting we realized how much there was to do and how much he was offering to help with. The move is now currently underway with all the databases being moved over after which we will turn off this forum while waiting for the site to be hosted on the new hosters at booyah. This propogation can take anywhere from three to four hours, but can sometimes take up to twenty four hours. Thank you for your patience during this time, and once again, thank you for just hanging out here so that we can say we have friends Cheers! gogo
  4. It's cool how the internet is getting parcelled out into small appliances like this, the itouch, and phones...before it was like we all needed huge comps to grab it all..now sweet little things like this carve out part of the "signal" (lol, love that ...from serenity ^^) wrap up the parts we're really interested in and then stick it on a stove, kithen wall, desktop, anything... World's achangin gogo
  5. My buff ran out...noooooooooooooo... Is something we probably won't hear with the new release of Sacred 2 as these handsome new CA timers along the bottom right of the screen, now seem to show all. Finally... after much suffering and waiting with CA displays from the old Sacred which told nothing other than which one was which...the new displays from Sacred 2 are dynamic with level indicators that actually show a kind of sweeping timer on how much mojo you got goin to go... Plucked those photos out of one of the new batch of small videos that have just lately been released for Sacred 2 from the GDC: http://www.gametrailers.com/player/31070.html Nice work Ascaron...very cool how a warrior now has access to spells gogo p.s. have you guys been listening to the music on that clip? Fantastic p.s.s Love the part where eveyrthing just blows up apart into gore Tasty
  6. The sausages turned out pretty good actually... I could bring along of the scrapings from the one that had to be sacrificed gogo
  7. What a waste. And true, Ban Dana... What will Ike do! gogo
  8. Hey guys, our software's in the process of being upgraded with some new nifty features...we may be down for a little while as they do the work, SacredWiki will be affected as well. Ari says we can party at her house while we're undergoing the renovations gogo
  9. As you wish http://darkmatters.org/forums/index.php?sh...hl=time+machine gogo
  10. heh, ever tried to cut a tomato with a dull knife? ouch gogo
  11. And, after some digging...lol, I knew we had these around here somewhere.... Tadah! The Dark Elf Guides! http://darkmatters.org/forums/index.php?showforum=270 gogo
  12. Thanks to modern technologies, wardrobe malfunctions will live on forever! gogo
  13. Alright, heading down to the store to check it out...I'll load up on popcorn and wine for this one gogo
  14. Thanks for the update Carolyn! gogo
  15. BHJ, you're so evil...we all know how helpless Schot is in the face of these things... baaaaaaaaaaaaaaad gogo
  16. Yeah they were a let down...not only did I never get my family, but later on I found out they were shrimp... sigh gogo
  17. First off Arafinwe, welcome to DarkMatters! And... heh, your first question here is regarding a character class I've hardly ever touched... I'm not sure what would be best for your build at this point, I'm sure though that others from the community will show up who have more expertise that I do on this. gogo
  18. Unless they used some of those janet jackson BLEEP shields...no wardrobe malfunctions in Sacred gogo
  19. lol, knuckles, you know...that's always been one of my primary fears here with new users...that they miss that View New Posts button and it's functionality. This forum has about 150 to 200 posts going up a day, so it's easy to lose stuff. The cool thing about the View New Post Functionality is the animation that Brad has created when looking at the page that spawns...all posts that have been unread by you have active sacred mini-animated portals...and if they are read, the portals are static and not active. gogo
  20. Will this method give the sausages a browned look? Mine came out looking pretty pale gogo
  21. Excellent...okay, I've got the onions, a good pan and a lid and a bunch of sausages...I'm figgering I'll cook em all at once, this way I can use em out during the next few days. Ty! gogo p.s. lol, love that part about sacrificing a sausage...Oy!
  22. How do you cook them ari? And the onions sounds good. In oil, broth, water? How about how long... and at what temperature please gogo
  23. I was at the local loblaws with a friend of mine who has a car...this is the kind of shopping place where it seems like the aisles go on for miles and miles.... and I couldn't believe how cheap meat was... I was able to pick up like 16 decent sized italian spicy sausages for 3.90 Sausage isn't something my family usually eats, and the novelty of buying something that was so inexpensive but that looked so spicy and red-blooded was compelling. Thing is... lol, I am clueless on how to cook them. I stuck one in a frypan with water and then....sort of boiled it for about an hour...it came out tasty...but, dunno...seemed like it was missing something. Is there some kind of sausage cooking technique that I'm missing out on here? gogo
  24. lol, I remember seeing ads for these things when I was but a ha child. I would look at the cartoon illustrations in comic books and just yearn for the day when as a grownup, I too, would actually be able to afford a home for those friendly sea monkeys which were guaranteed to make me popular with all of my friends and perform tricks with flashlights that would oooo everyone from miles around. Course I forgot about them when school started... But today, when clicking on Random videos on youtube.... Rejoice...Seamonkeys have once again entered my life. This time with a superb video on what the little buggers were all this time! Seriously though it's a very entertaining video gogo
