  1. Just wanted to drop in and say thank you for this guide! It's massively improved my enjoyment of the game on pc returning to sacred after many years from PS3 back in the day. Seeing the new perspectives and angles in the world is just so fun.
  2. Thanks everyone for the help! More or less have it figured out now lol!
  3. Thank you so much for this work! If I'm understanding correctly, would all we need to do be that we add the .txt from the first post? I have done that and Open Net is still greyed out. Also the create account button asks for an activation code which I don't have because it's a Steam version. Thanks again!
  4. Merry Christmas, people of Ancaria! As someone coming back to the game on PC who used to play exclusively on PS3, I have a ridiculous question. I can't figure out how to assign combat arts to the slots on the bottom-left of the screen. Or what those slots are for? Clicking and dragging combat arts into them doesn't do anything. I know I'm doing something incredibly silly but I just can't figure it out lol.
  5. No, I'm pretty sure it's Studio II. Here's their facebook page: https://m.facebook.com/studioII
  6. :[ This is not going to be a good time for me if this is the first of the April Fools jokes I'm going to be subjected to.
  7. <>_<> It... it cannot be. Are we witnessing a true rebirth of Ancaria? By the light of Lumen, I hope so!
  8. A lot of Mr Bungle. Specifically 'Carry Stress In The Jaw'.
  9. Similarly, my girlfriend introduced me to Rose Milk... My life has changed forever.
  10. Maybe the age of the complex RPG is over.
  11. After playing a lot of Dragon's Dogma, I've actually come to be fond of the idea of having party-members. Feels a bit like Dungeon Siege, one of my old favourites. So... Combining these elements... May just lead to the creation of one of my favourite RPG's ever! I have high hopes for this game again.
  12. GTX 550ti 4gb ram i7 @ 3.6Ghz 1tb HDD That's all I remember, but it's a really affordabe rig and runs quiet smoothly (30-90+fps, but mostly a solid 60)
  13. The thing that's most disappointing to me too is the lack of open world. I would spend so many hours in Sacred 2 just looking around and finding new places. Sigh. I'll still buy it, but at least I know now to have different expectations for it. I'm sure it'll be good in its own way, and maybe it was too hopeful of us to get an Ascaron-esque game not made by Ascaron.
  14. It's just temporary Don't worry. "Not Final Art" in the bottom right corner.
  15. The "3" reminds me of the three on Devil May Cry 3. Not sure if it's actually similar. But yeah, I love the logo. They've modernized the Sacred look without losing its feel. Ooooh. I have high hopes for this game ^_^
  16. I genuinely like it like that. Game covers nowadays are too busy anyway. Simple covers are nice.
  17. That's what I thought... exactly! you guys think they're using the same engine? gogo If they are, they must've really revamped it a lot. It looks stunning.
  18. Veeeeery pretty! This has gotten me really excited! The screenshots in some ways remind me of Sacred 2.
  19. "Diablo-killer"? Sacred novel? They really are hefting all their weight behind this game, and it's awesome to see ^_^ Still, quite a bold claim to be calling it a "Diablo-killer." Maybe Diablo 1 or 2 xD The stuff about a novel... that intrigues me a great deal.
  20. So excited for this. My imagination is running wild about what S3 will look like! How much longer till PAX?
  21. I liked it immensely for two weeks but dropped out of it for some reason :/ Pity, I really liked it, but can't see myself going back to it soon. Oh, and hello other other South African!
  22. I'll be honest, I didn't like the sequel quite as much as the first, but it was still fantastic. I have Windows 7, so I guess there's no Dungeon Siege for me
  23. It might be an old one, but the only other hack and slash RPG I enjoyed as much as Sacred 2 was the first 'Dungeon Siege - Legends of Aranna'. Get past the dated visuals and you have a game that just oozes atmosphere and quality and fun. Man, I loved that game. I should start it up again. Let me try find a screenshot. Ooh, and the music was brilliant!
