  1. @Flix Thanks a lot! There are lots of research going on around generative nets, though now it still has its flaws(Weird looking failed samples, can't generalize well.(Lots of generated pics look the same)) . But hey, I think I'll be constantly reading papers and stuff and incorporate the latest improvement to the network architecture. And then I'll try on this dataset again, you know, rinse and repeat, maybe it will grow into something, who knows. @gogoblender Yes, it will look somewhat like the original portraits. I'll quote someone who put it more accurately: The generated pictures will look better if we have a bigger dataset. The most tedious and inglorious job is actually cleaning the data(Sizing, upscaling,handpick,augmentations and stuff) Training from scratch with 4 2080tis generally takes about 5 days to a week. However, I have to stop my machine once every two days so it won't malfunction from overheating and stuff. As I only have 2 2080tis, I'll train on cloud and use my own for the last mile. The current generative architectures are really good with texture but fall short on lines and stuff. I hope it will turn out alright,if not, I'll just keep on trying. One more thing, I'll grab the data and try it out, no promises on release date, it will be ready when it's ready!!
  2. @Flix @gogoblender Yeah,the harder part is where could I collect all those artistic portraits. The only place I know is deviant art.(I'm by no means an artist.) If you could lead me to places with more of those headshots, I might as well train one from scratch. The only other option I have is to scrap from google or use bing's image api, though those images are often not of very high quality. Current generative nets aren't perfect, so you could expect some really funny generations, actually I roll my own architecture, so much of the flaws of stylegan2 or stargan2 could be avoided. I guess some portion of those generated images are actually useable, so Flix could use them in his MODs without concerns for 'copy left' infringement. They are more 'original' based on your own interpretation. There are some techniques to give image depth and make it look 3D, yet again, it's not like they always work so well, but I guess some pictures might look really good. There some one shot motion transfering tricks being used constantly in deepfakes, so we could animate the portrait a bit and make it smile or cry, blinking eyes and the alike. I'm not really sure how much time I could actually spend on this project, so no release date promise. Data cleaning is notoriously time consuming, but hey I think this is a cool initiative!!
  3. @Flix Perhaps we could use a generative nerual net to create more of those portraits provided you can lead me to a place with lots of those icons. I'll train the model and give you the generated portraits to choose from, heck we could actually animate the portraits with some in-painting techniques. I guess some of those portraits may not be perfect, but I guess that since you are such a great artist, maybe be you can give them a little polish. PM me if you wanna work on this project.

  5. @Flix Guess little progress could be made if pampering to nimbys' standards.... Just tell them to play vanilla, this is a MOD anyway..... It feels terrible that some people are so entitled and spoiled. They just couldn't see the effort being put into the patch.
  6. I actually recorded a video on this, I'll try out 2.4 once it's released to see if shaman pet's aggro pattern gets fixed. BTW, could we have a duel wield seraphim pet or one with a range weapon? Just asking... Some random thought: Endijians set has a really cool helmet, I was wondering if we could use that armor set instead since the NPC seraphim is bald. Genesis Set has a pretty cool one(helmet) too, maybe we could just keep the helmet and dress her up with something else.

  8. The succubus is a great company to have, thanks @Flix for your amazing work!! Yet she is way too serious. Could we have one with a more relaxed look? I also found out that her skin is a little bit oily. (Black and white mixture that looks painterly? Sorry I'm not an artist, I dunno how to describe it) I took a screenshot though. PS: Could we have her armor texture rivaling that of the inquisitor's? (Lots of details) I really like the improved version of his outfit from EE!! Thanks again Flix!! If her wings are a little bit higher, she might look a little bit more imposing?
  9. Maybe it would be cooler if one version is more 'warrior' focused, equiped with the mutation set with better stats on melee. Another aspect is more magey....... we could give her Heavenly Justice with more of a focus on magic so she casts her spells more often.... And I thought perhaps we could give her a headband or something that doesn't cover her hair, seraphim looks best with her blonde hair. Here are some nominations for headband.

  12. Yes, he seems not to be so active and constantly messed up the only thing he does: tossing fireballs. It would be great if we could use another animation, but it's much better if we could have a different, much cooler character mesh like that of grim dawn's nemesis Valdaran----the Storm Scourge. We might as well just name it the fire scourge. I will record a short video of the dryad's shaman pet (Aggro issues) and post it later this week.
  13. EVIL laughter...... Wow,I don't know that, that's quite unique. Em, T-Energy Modules/Technical Modules sets of the hero temple guardian are also great choices, and .... em personal opinion, I just thought the temple guardian doesn't look quite right without a cannon on his left hand. Can we give him a shorter but bigger weapon for his right hand? The sword is way too long and looks a little awkward on a very thin frame. It might look perfect if the pet is a little bit bulkier though. --- This is just my personal view, I think there are lots of people that prefer Pindleskin than THICKNESS.
  14. @Flix I tested out the summons of EE 2.4 beta. Sakkara demon is a lot more aggressive, but still moves slowly compared to a player. (Maybe that's becuz I'm in end game with much improved speed?). When the time expires, the demon explodes just like destroyers of dragon mage which is quite nice. Succubus, the arch_angel of seraphim, sentinel of anubis are all very capable.....(aggressive and move at reasonable speed) The shaman pet of dryad moves rather slow, not aggressive at all and seldom use her skills-----------outlier spotted. (The model is quite an eye candy though) Wishlists: Could we have an arch_angel pet that process the visuals of some of seraphim's sets like Illuminated Skies for instance? Flaring nova is a much more visually pleasing skill to have for the pet than arch angel's wrath. (Though I maybe really opinionated.) Could we implement a modifier that not only decides which skill(convert faith/flaing nova) the pet use, but also its armor? (Like Illuminated Skies for convert faith, while Origin of the Seraish for flaring nova.) Can we have a more Mechy sentinel for temple guardian, like using some armor sets of the class? The succubus.... em I like the hero from the first game, but is there a chance we have a more voluptuous model(LOL) or a high res one? I know it's a lot to ask, plz ignore these if you are super busy or has other priorities to implement.
