Well, I was a little bored waiting to resume a planning session with Beowulf on tomorrow's hit. So I sent my heavies to flatten some defenses. Then I started going through fleets I had phalanxed. Found this one, once again on a deploy. The server reset came and went and no activity, so I launched recs and fleet. My fleet arrived 22 seconds after his, as he could simply recall if he was online. If I had been able to just send my heaviews, my losses would have been half or less, but hey, I'll take it. Anyway, I think he needs more ninja, and less master.

The DF forms around the planet where the battle occurred and stays there until someone recycles it with recyclers. Because recs are much slower than the fighting ships, the DF is often sitting there for anyone to take for an hour or more. In this case, it was there for about 1:30:00-1:45:00. Not enough time usually for someone in another SS to get it, but somone in SS apparently saw it and had a couple of recs handy.
