  1. Pretty good huh? I've always liked Sacred's music and sound effects. Looks like Sacred 2 has even more world-wide music influences to keep us going with. Sort of reminds me of stuff I've heard from Guild Wars. gogo
  2. It's actually super simple, Berkkley...just the way I like it. The box that pops up and stays on my screen if I want it too is any size I want. I use this one here: It gives me a summary of stats my choice: Summary, Daily Report, Weekly Report, Monthly Report. Since turning it on this morning I've gone through 66.61 mb total...that includes up and downloads. Didn't get any big downloads today, just normal browsing. I'm pleased gogo
  3. From Sacred 2.com Music-Player updated with new track! Feel the Sound of Ancaria! Tune in to the atmospheric audio of Sacred 2! Launch the Sacred Music Player and enjoy the Sound of Ancaria while you browse the net. The Music Player streams tracks sampled in 128kBit MP3 format (in-game tracks will be longer and in higher quality, using 5.1 OGG Vorbis) Enjoy the music! 4. A little pricey for 780.00 dontcha think? I think when I do finally upgrade for Sacred 2, I'll stick to logitech. They've always had some decent pricing, and my little compu cave down the street is right friendly with trade-ins. gogo
  5. Hey, didn't I tell you how great this was? lol, all my friends at work and I have this song in my head now...for days. Bless the Smashing Pumpkins gogo
  6. Good question. Mostly a neighbor's courtyard, and the port-a-potty being used by construction workers I'll get a camera, and post pics. gogo
  7. Just got Bandwidth Monitor: Love the stats gogo
  8. lol, Lord. I'm sure that Sacred 2 won't need that much of an upgrade? Probably a touch more Ram, and ram's so cheap these days... I have to keep myself from just wanting to go out and sticking in another 4 gig because I'm afraid of what it will rise up to. gogo
  9. Yay, for your sun, Tomi! We've had twillight zone weather here for the last four or five days here in Montreal. Rain falling in the middle of sun. Clouds, overcast all the time, strange winds, chill at once, then fade to humid. Don't want to talk about the humidity grrrrrrrr....but it's 8.07 am in the morning right now, and I'm loving this morning's weather. Crispy clean, no construction... and even the tweet of a bird or two that hasn't caved in from Pollution. Ahhh, today's life gogo
  10. It's a pretty awesome song. When they first used it in their trailer here: http://darkmatters.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=7685 The timing on this vid was enough to make me want the song as well, 501105 gogo
  11. Cool! lol, one of our members here was telling me that he always takes female in-gamers..says the attitude is different, and peeps offer him gifts ^^ Good luck with the new toon Epox. gogo
  12. Ahh, relaxing view suburbia...and you're up high, so the vantage is distinct. So different from what I see out my window. This makes me think that "view out our home windows" thread would be a great topic. gogo
  13. Totally on the same page as Podgie here... If you're this much concerned, find out what your rights are, perhaps have a parent make the report for you. The police are there to be accountable, not to give you excuses of why you're not capable of being a responsible member of society. gogo
  14. sorry for the double post Gak Just called Disconnection fee is 100.00 for breaking contract gogo
  15. We're workin on it. I'm planning on dumping Bell as soon as my contract is over. It's Tek Saavy here from now on. http://www.teksavvy.com/en/content.asp?ID=9&mID=1 Canada's Internet Darling has scored a place in me heart gogo
  16. It actually is a pretty awesome window. Tomi, you guys live in a house, right? Is there another window on that house that is this window's mirror twin? gogo
  17. heh, you've got a feel for these bots Mom ^^ I think, in our site's case, the content is game spam, but a human actually has to thrash their way through our defenses. Not a bad looking site for a game though. gogo
  18. Mario Kroll spends 30 minutes on a presentation regarding Ascaron, cdv and Sacred 2. Some interesting info on the the characters while he powerpoints and shows us ingame footage about the upcoming September release. Sit back and enjoy it, the video is 30 minutes long. gogo
  19. Sorry for the double post. Someone at another forum I posted this question on says that this is pretty awesome too. http://www.paessler.com/download/prtg6 As Brad said, we're having to look at networking now, as we have three, and bandwidth is so important. The product I just found allows us to monitor up to three for free. Woot! gogo
  20. What an insane ingame goodie. Hats off to Ascaron and cdv for pulling this off. Tomi, I'm trying to find you in the audience gogo

  22. German Power Metal Band to Sign Autographs in Support of Action RPG Sacred 2: Fallen Angel at Comic Con Booth 5129 Cary, NC, July 23, 2008 – cdv Software Entertainment USA is pleased to announce that Hansi Kürsch and André Olbrich, lead vocalist and lead guitarist of the definitive power metal band BLIND GUARDIAN, will be signing autographs in the Sacred 2: Fallen Angel area (Booth 5129) at this year’s Comic-Con in San Diego. The band members will be available on Friday and Saturday, July 25 and 26, from 5 to 6 pm to meet fans and promote a new song written exclusively for Sacred 2: Fallen Angel. Fans will also be able to visit the booth to enjoy hands-on play time with Sacred 2: Fallen Angel, the Action RPG set to release this fall on PC and next-generation consoles. "The opportunity for Blind Guardian to work on a popular video game is quite exciting alone,” said Hansi Kürsch, lead singer of BLIND GUARDIAN. "To have us be able to contribute to and have our band exist within a game as rich as Sacred 2: Fallen Angel has been very rewarding for us, as gamers and fans of the Sacred series.” “We’ve been long-time fans of Blind Guardian’s music,” added developer Ascaron Entertainment’s founder Holger Flöttmann. “The opportunity to have one of our favorite bands write a song and include their alter egos in-game has been a wonderful experience. It also signifies how great music and amazing games can fit together to deliver an even more enjoyable experience to gamers.” “The members of Blind Guardian and their US record label, Nuclear Blast, have been extremely easy to work with,” indicated Mario Kroll, Director of Marketing and Public Relations for cdv Software Entertainment USA. "To have musicians of this caliber and popularity not only help and create, but also promote Sacred 2: Fallen Angel is something we're incredibly excited about." Sacred 2: Fallen Angel will release for the PC in North America in September 2008. Console versions will be released in November 2008. For more information, please visit the Sacred 2 website at http://www.sacred2.com. Visit BLIND GUARDIAN online at http://www.blind-guardian.com and http://www.myspace.com/blindguardian. BLIND GUARDIAN music and DVDs will be available for purchase throughout the convention at the Nuclear Blast area (Booth 116) at Comic Con 2008.
