  1. Well, I usually get my gadgets from online, so no such thing's possible. That's why I usually read many reviews and stuff before buying anything. And if possible, hear some first hand experiences, if any associates happen to have 'em. Nice to hear you got things sorted out, Gogo. Kinda funny to see, that the cheapest was the winner, as usually price can be felt in such a thing as a mouse. I went quite a long time with some wireless Logitech, can't even remember the name anymore. It died on me some time last year and I got meself Roccat Savu. Was around ~60€ or something. I usually go for the cheap ones, but this is yet to let me down. Plus is corded, so no need to worry about the batteries. Funny thing how my computing habits have evolved from corded keyb/mousie, to cordless combo and back to corded. I somehow find 'em more comfy for me. When I game or use computer, I'm stuck in front of the thing, which is a good thing, IMHO. For cordless experience, I play with PS3. How comes the board sucks up my spacing? There's supposed to be an empty line between the chapters...
  2. Nailed it, Wolfie. Someone's apparently better in search-fu than me. Tho, I claim my Google-fu to be greater. (than finding things here on DM. ) I mostly would've wanted it for the Dryad set. Can't really stomach a full mail armor or something on a dryad... But since it's only to v100, then I think I'm out of luck...
  3. Wolfie: Yep. Going to get one set together for my Pyro-bargainer one of these days. And if I'm not wrong, same is with the Exalted set for seraphim; Virtues of Seraphim. And Sopor's too. I can't seem to find the post on quick search, but he did a standalone patch, which changed at least one Dryad's set, took the cloak of the SW's Lich King set, etc. Might be that it went missing with the recent tumble...
  4. Welcome aboard Rizz. Well, mainly it's the constraints of the game's engine. As sad it is, Sacred 2 was apparently never meant to be heavily modded... Like the oldie but goodie Titan Quest, or newer Elder Scrolls. Though, like Wolfie said, CM-patch adds some nice goodies. And Steam has the Gold-edition available at reasonable price, if one doesn't have it already. And I remember seeing some nifty little patch LazyTomcat made. Though I don't remember if it works with the latest CM-patch. And if one knows how to handle the textures and stuff, one could make the armors look just what one wants. I'm sure CM-membs and other modders would like to share the needed knowhow anyway.
  5. Thanks for clearing that out, Wolfie. It's been ages since I've seriously played Sacred 2, so things have kinda dropped from my head. And about the nerf, you could be quite right about it. But for the love of Lumen, I can't remember, which were the best dmg-rings and ammies I found with my 90'ish seraphim... It would be logical that all trinkets took the hit from the toning down.
  6. Gogo: That kinda depends of the year. But generally, April and May are the spring months and June, July and August summer. Well, August is leaning to fall actually, but could also be warm as heck. I'm quite positive we'll have somewhat nice summer coming, as the winter's been quite harsh. But then again, it might be cold as... cold. We have somewhat unofficial saying that "Finnish summer is short, but with only little snow." That's as good translation I can give. Point is, quite often summers are cold, and much of rain pours down on us poor chaps trying to have our summer vacations.
  7. Yep, what Wolfie said. Along some patch they added the level restrictions to pc-version. So no more high level Niob goodies on low level chars. Same with runes. IIRC, you need to be at minium level of 45 to handle socketed Niob runes. But on the console, that'd be quite a breaker, or possibly shortcut, if one wants to have powerful toon from the start.
  8. All sunny day for once. And couple Celsius on plus. Seems this'll continue for the remainder of the week, although, forecasts tell, that we'll get a heap of cold arctic air on weekend... That'd mean around -20C or so. Spring's so far away...
  9. Well, neither of the games are going to be on my pre-order list. Sacred 3 would be a maybe, if things would look totally different. And for D3, skipped it wholly on PC, even when there was really good offer on my local web dealer. Many things in that game just put me off too badly to warrant a purchase. I'm quite sure things aren't going to change enough when it hits the consoles. Still, hoping that things with Sacred 3 would just work out, so that each platform would get a nice dose of ARPG-goodness. It's just too bad Keen started to take the game further away from it's origins. Just kinda re-found the original Sacred yesterday, when I noticed that all I need to do, is put on GPU-scaling and voila! Nice little box in the monitor, no crappy stretch over 1080p screen. I really doubt this would happen with Sacred 3 as things stand. So, happily chipping away with my poison Demoness. Only thing annoying is that pots can't be stacked, but gotta live with it. Went somewhat off-topic, so gotta end the rant here.
  10. Phew, finally starting to feel better.

  11. Welcome aboard, make yourself comfortable in this little place we all call Home.
  12. Unireth's Lightning is one I remember from the top of my head. Can't really remember if there was one more, but I remember using Unireth few times with either Seraphim or Inquisitor.
  13. Lujate: I'll report how things end, and maybe some sit rep on the process. I'm quite sure I can fit SR there just fine. Don't want to get served by those enemies you mentioned.
  14. Plus you get more variety in form of slots and weapons in general. Which is nice bonus for bargainer. Earlier my shopper seraphim was around the lines written here. Though, to be honest, I didn't delve too much into Blood Forest, since no Spell Res. That shouldn't matter too much in consoles, as no Blood Forest. But if memory serves, in Plat those dryad isle thingies, spirits or what, gave me few nasty suprises. Then I noticed that my seraphim was on the squisher side. Now that I'm nearly starting from the scratch I decided to give a Pole Arms seraphim a try. Leveling a shopper side by side, so that she can provide fresh stack of Javs and the like. Slots for basic grindfest and %LL-ones for bosses. We'll see how that turns out. Will be interesting to see how she fares without shields of any kind. Also, the poler will benefit from the added ca-range sigils, as I'm going to go exotic, using Assailing Sommersault for area damage, paired with Poles' change to hit additional targets.
  15. Hmmh, the old saying how everything's big in America still holds true, I see... Good luck shoveling yourself up from the drifts, Eth. Can't remember, if there's been quite that much snow at a single go, although I remember one winter, nearly 20 years ago. We must've gotten at least 50cm-60cm snow a single night. Not sure about current situation, might be around 50 altogether. More than enough if you ask me.
  16. Well, once thing comes to mind; the Steam edition is somewhat dumb and contains the full version files, although one can't use 'em. Which would be outright ridiculous... But, I dunno. Just checked the installation folder and one file, named data0002.dat is the space hogger. Approx. 1,8GBs that one. The remaining files take about 160MBs. Guess that could make a quick comparison, checking the install-folders contents.
  17. Wolfie: Points around 2 gigs here, when installed. It could also be that it is tightly packed and during installation exponentially expanded. Just a thought though, I'm not totally sure. But I do think Steam's not doing funny business, as many people would deffo notice if there was something strange happening.
  18. Wolfie: Yep. That explains a lot. Didn't even remotely calculated CPU there, although it does matter, whether you have brand spanking new CPU vs. older one. And memory deffo effects lots of things. Just btw, ran the Windows WEI-tests again after reinstall after I changed Windows HD to SSD. If memory serves, my previous score was around 5.4, just because the Windows HD was slow as h***. Now it sits at 7.2. Which is nice considering I don't have the newest setup. ^^ And Sacred 2 runs really nice. Made an exception and put it on the Windows HD, just 'cause of SSD.
  19. I feel for you, Knucks! Looks like you're really getting it there... I think I'm starting to lean towards autumn myself too. Though summer's quite strong also. Spring's full of pollen, so no thank you. On winter it's either too much snow, or too darn cold. I used to really hate fall in the past. Reminded me of starting school, getting all gloomy with continous rain, etc. But it deffo beats this winter here. Couple of days've been quite nice. Yesterday was all sunny and today, while no sun, decent enough. Around -8C, although there's nasty wind out there.
  20. I'll run it, once I get my system confed so that no outside thingies will make the test lose focus. Just needed an email notification popping up and halt the test goes. xD Oh well, here's my results for the first one: http://www.3dmark.com/3dm/264201? Will be updated with Cloud Gate, once I rerun it again. Hopefully without interruptions this time. Wolfie: Mind you, I have over 3 years old card and no slideshow. Tho, to be completely honest, it lags quite a bit at times. Good one though, that card. Really got best bang for the bucks when I bought it. Was around 100€ or so.
  21. Eth: If only I was faking it... There is high possibility that I caught some influenza or something. Second week in going. No fever as it is. But I'm steadily coughing my lungs on the walls and brains flowing out me head through nose. Geh... Weather's been nice enough, altough all I've been outside these few days are taking post (about 10-20 meters from my front door) and taking trash. (add another 10 or so meters)
  22. *Wheeze* Sooo waiting for the sequel. Which will take some time. Good thing we'll get something like Ironman 3 on the meantime. And I think there was something other scheduled soon, if memory serves...
  23. Seconded! Just that look on Loki's face. "Getting my @$$ handed to me by a "mere" mortal?" or something along those lines.
  24. Ah, The Dragon Discipline. Great little prestige class. What more hilarious, one has to be either few levels Sorcerer or Bard to get there. The magician part I understand, the playwright, never... Anyways, now that I have the diamond collection, I should reallly restart my fire spewing magical engine of destruction one of these days. If only there weren't so much other distractions.
  25. For starters, can't do much in the creation side, as I'm not even slightly familiar with the quirks and irks of the CK. Been only using the end results of others. But as the idea, that's muchos appreciated, and I really do hope you'll get things ironed out. ^^ As for the items, the mix would seem most ideal in my opinion, albeit tad more tedious. If I remember correctly, it could be possible to add few tomes, which would enable the player to create the items, once the right perks have been obtained. So those lore books could be scattered around along with the weapons. And for the appearances and such; it would really help out to have the wiki in hand, but gotta go without it, at least for the starters. I guess Blood Dryad's could possibly be a red hued glass sword. Pair it with flame enchantment and it would look quite nice. (Just off the top of my head.) I'll be heading back to Skyrim once I've gotten rid of this damn flu or whatever it is. Really don't have the energy for a long enough game session to satisfy meself. >_< I'll be sure to post up other things as well, if anything comes in mind. Still not on 100%, so bear with me.
