  1. Darn, I'll have to make do with supermarket ones then.
  2. Well it all looks wonderful, and they say "you get what you pay for" . But, with my wages, I'll have to stick with cheese on toast, lol ! If my numbers come up on the lotto, I'll give you a shout mate.
  3. Never heard of a 'king' cheetah before. Is there much difference between that one and a normal cheetah ? Talking of trophy hunting, they ran a picture story in the UK press of famillies going to Africa and shooting giraffe !? They had photos taken of themselves gathered around the dead giraffe...........If I'd shot such a beautiful animal, I'd keep darned quiet about it !
  4. Geez, that's some posh looking grub mate. Bet it don't come cheap ?
  5. Sounds yummy Delta, can you stick some in the post ?
  6. Sounds like you have researched well and I am sure she will appreciate your efforts. I think, from what I have read, that you have soup to start and the apple dumplings for desert. What about for main course ? A good one will be a chunky vegetable stew/cassarole with cheese and herb dumplings (one of my mum's specialities) Include lots of pulses/beans to substitute the lack of meat. Steve.
  7. I guess everyone is different. I am a bit of a minimalist and don't hold onto very much at all. My flat is rather bare. My parents visited a while back and didn't like it as they said it looked like I live like a monk ! I am not like that, but I'm not into materialistic things and don't like clutter ( too much to dust ) What I'm getting at, eventually, is that I can put my hands on anything I need in my flat in no time at all. I could not stand to live in a mess and I know that I'd never find anything !
  8. I've heard talk of these restaurants. But I'm not sure as I'd be worrying about how much ended up down my shirt ! I'm a messy eater with the lights on, so in total darkness............
  9. Recipe link There are several on the net. This looked like a good one.
  10. Have you seen this :- Inquisitor download ? I hope this is what you were after ? Steve.
  11. Thanks Gogo. I guess if he's working that hard then his health must have improved, which is a blessing.
  12. There may be plenty for the 360 now, but little going on for the first 12 months after release. I played Resident Evil 5 ( or 4, but I think 5........oh dear, hehe !) which was a fantastic game. There were a couple of others, but then nothing for around a year so I sold my console. Fable 2 was a massive dissapointment and Sacred 2 was, imho, awful on the 360. So much better to play Sacred 2 on the pc.
  13. Hey Knuckles, how is your health these days ? Seeing that Schot is off with a bad back reminded me that you were suffering a while back with a bad back injury. Just wondering if you are back to full health or just soldiering on ? Steve.
  14. Sorry for being late, but I hope that you are well Sil'. I miss all the stories that you used to post (over at SIF). You still writing ? Steve.
  15. I wish I was an elephant ! My memory is getting worse by the day. I heard that they reckon that people are getting worse at remembering stuff because of Google ! We are so used to just Googling for info that we don't bother to remember anything any more. Technological advances biting us in the behind ? :cha (18): Steve.
  16. Ah, thankyou for that information mate. I was unaware that the makers had gone bankrupt. It's very sad that so many games companies have gone to the wall.
  17. Hmmm, what happened to the cool, calm, and collected Podgie we all know and love ? That is the cool, calm and collected Podgie! You don't want to see the bad tempered Podgie, you really don't. When I swell up to three times normal size, my skin turns green and I start screaming "Hulk Smash!" it's time for you to run for cover. On a good day the devastation is sort of like the Poison Daemoness with her Poison Ring attack, on a bad day ........... well, you don't want to go there! PS, sorry I took so long to reply as I have been busy rebuilding the back of the house, I had a minor temper tantrum and needed to repair some damage I caused. Lol Podgie. I know yer a lovely bloke really and wouldn't hurt a fly. Just wondering the other day, and I'm sorry if this is discussed elsewhere, but has there ever been talk of a TQ2 ? I don't recall seeing any sequel news, but it wouldn't surprise me. Steve.
  18. My mother has been vegan for some years now, and was vegetarian since the 1960's. Traditionally vegetarians won't eat meat, fish, sea food etc, whereas vegans add any dairy products to that list, which limits the diet. My mum uses products like quorn and tofu to supliment her meals. She eats lots of beans/pulses etc too.
  19. They have! Take a pint of cider every hour on the hour and I guarantee the pain will lessen considerably, and be much more bearable. It's a nice idea Podgie mate, but a bit short term. The next morning you wake up and you still have your bad back, but with the added bonus of a hangover ! So take another pint of cider every hour ............ I tried that, but I kept spilling my pint whilst driving !
  20. It doesn't matter how powerful they make the Xbox if they haven't got the games to go with it ! I did buy the xbox but got rid of it after a short while as it didn't have any decent games. The Playstation always has much more games, but is too expensive, imho. That's why I only have a pc at this time. A little off topic, but in a way it's a bit like new tv's. They keep on bringing out newer tv's with new techknowledgy, like 3D etc, but when you think about it, you are still watching the same rubbish programmes on those tv's !? You are now watching 101 adverts in 3D and surround sound lmao !
  21. On tv they use some words which shouldn't really be used in front of children but are not really classed as 'swear' words. But on some movies, which are possibly familly movies ( maybe age 12 and above) which use proper 'swear' words, which I find unaceptable, tbh. They use children in the movies and use these 'swear' words in front of the children and make out that it is all just a good laugh ! Adam Sandler has done this in more than one film. I don't like this, but then I am not a parent so I can't protest too loud.
